Albert Pujols is the reigning NL MVP for a reason. He put up monstrous number despite being injured for a majority of the season. Pujols is a triple-crown threat year in year out. Count on him hitting .330, 40 HR, 120 RBI, and score 120 runs, at a minimum. There is no limit on how much this gifted player can achieve.

2. Miguel Cabrera

Miguel Cabrera is an excellent pick for your team. He will easily give you a .300, 40 HR, 130 RBI, and 100 runs. Although it is hard to believe, but this All-star is only 25 years old and is still on the rise. An Additional plus on picking Cabrera is he also qualifies at third base.

3. Ryan Howard

Howard has a poerful bat to say the least. He will give you 50 HR with an outside chance at 60. Also, with Howard you will get 130+ RBI. Additionally, Ryan will score about 100 times. Not to mention, Howard has a decent average for a power-hitter at .279.

4. Mark Teixeira

Tex will have a career season this year. As a switch-hitter he will always have himself a favorable matchup at the plate. Also with a new home in New York, he will take advantage of the short porch in right field. Expect him to hit .310, 35 HR, 130 RBI, and 110 runs.

5. Lance Berkman

The Big Puma will be a big success on your roster. Also a switch-hitter, Berkman will hit .320, 30 HR, 100 RBI, and 100 runs. Unique for the position, Lance is quick on his feet and can rack up around 15 SB for you.
