2009 is 2012 Farewell Atlantis

2009 is 2012

You have a choice to make. It's the 11th hour, the world is ending soon, the ship is sinking, the earth is shattering, the oceans are rising, the systems are failing.

2009 is 2012 and it's the movie that you are going to want to see this year.

Everything in it is science fiction & fantasy but when you walk out of the theatre and realize that you may have watched a movie where art is immitating life then you won't be the same until 2012 actually passes.

Everyday you'll look up to the sky for signs of changes. The news anchor on your tv, or podcast, will seem to you like a liar trying to cover up the impending doom that the producers convinced you of. The computer you work or surf the internet with will seem just like a robot that you know will soon be rising to present the fall of humanity. You may even think of joining a religious movement but you won't know who to trust since you know that most of these will be nothing but serfs manipulated by deceit.

But you'll soon realize that you are just being paranoid, that you are exhibiting neurotic behaviours that weren't part of your psyche before you watched the chilling drama of 2012 unfold in that gadd awful movie. You will question your sanity and the sanity of others and it won't stop until the 2012 winter solstice sun rises and falls and the baktun of the long count has wound down and the sun of the first day of 2013 has broken the horizon of dawn.

Then you'll be yourself again. After all it was a cheap flick about some cheap science fiction & fantasy stuff that you waisted a few bucks to see in 2009.

A few bucks that would have been better spent on a few colas or a six pack of your favorite beer, or even an few tunes downloaded to your mp3 or iPod.

2012 the trailer

2012, 13.0.0.0.0 November, 2009

The movie is called simply 2012 and it's scheduled for release on November 13, 2009 in a theater near you.

It's hyped up with lines like "How do you prepare six billion people for the end of the world" and "Farewell Atlantis".

We all know that Atlantis is science fiction and fantasy. It's mythology fabricated in the minds of master story tellers to entertain us while we earn our dollars to pay our way through this universe.

We all know that, but hollywood is sensationalizing it under director Roland Emmerich who is using talents like John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Oliver Platt, Danny Glover, and none other than Woody Harrelson of Cheers fame to tell the story. In the end the big bucks of Sony Pictures will distribute the film.

But wait, although the storyline tells you that the world will collapse under the pressures of natural and near supernatural influences that have been prophecied by ancient cultures, seers, prophets, and psychics throughout the ages, the movie is also about the survivors of this apocalypse.

The production companies for this 2012 Farewell Atlantis film, which was filmed in part in western Canada, include Centropolis Entertainment and Mark Gordon Company.

So this my dear humans is the why 2009 is the year to see 2012.

And do not fear about waisting that beer money on a ticket. If you do, consider that the film that you will have seen is estimated to have cost 150 million dollars to produce.

Now that's enough fiat to buy a few rounds.

I 'll make it a point to see 2012, considering all the prophesy and prediction surrounding it. Interestingly, the projects from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act are to be completed by the start of that year as well... Busy work until the end comes?

Well, you can definitely not stop your life or traumatize your self over a Sci-Fiction. Whatever your belief is keep in mind that if this prophecy does come true you want to enjoy every day to the fullest instead of wasting your life trying to look for signs....... ;)

I told an un-named acquaintance I went to see the movie "2012" and got the response, "What's that? A movie about Sarah Palin?"

2012 is exactly what you want this movie to be, but not much more. I enjoyed it and thought the cast did pretty well with the material they were given (You can always count on Woody Harrelson to play a convincing kook...). It is always fun to see what new ways Hollywood can come up with trashing US monuments, and they got Las Vegas this time, also.

I enjoyed the movie and this post. Thanks.
