Dear Kate,

Hello my love. It's the start of another weekend. I hope yours is filled with friends, fun, joy, and love. And I particularly hope it's void of lesson plans. No such luck, eh? It seems to me through your letters that you have been working pretty hard lately. That is, with your school work and the night class you're taking. Please Kate, take care of yourself. Don't be continuously on the go to the point of exhaustion. And for God's sake Kate, if you're tired, go to bed. Don't feel that it's imperative you write me a letter. As much as I enjoy receiving your letters, I'd much rather have you well and happy. Please forgive me if my concern has caused me to be a bit preachy.

Here things have been, well, "the same" seems to be an inadequate description. The inevitable has happened. I've got KP Monday. Oh, double drat. The only thing that will make it bearable is the thought that I might see you the weekend after. It's all up to the first sarge now. By the way, he's the one who makes out the KP rosters, the fink. Oops, perhaps I should reserve my judgment until this weekend. Now I'm in the process of getting all the paper work done needed for my O.C.S. application. It's a hell of a lot.

Well another weekend is closing in on me and with it, lonliness and heartache for you. How I long to see you again. You know what, Kate? I'm hopelessly in love with you. It never ceases to astound and overjoy me that Katy K. says she loves me. Thank you for your beautiful letter.

Love,

Tim
