3 Golf Tips to Improve Your Game

Golf Tip 1 Play the Same Golf
For some Reason we seem to play two different games on the Golf course. Most players have a range game and an on-course game, but can't seem to fit them together. The key is to practise like you play. Most players have a Practice game and then go on the course and play totally different, If you are quick and aggressive on the course then you need to practice the same way. There is no use practicing something that you're not going to use and put into play.
Golf Definitions
Golf: A 5 mile walk punctuated with disappointments
Fairway: An unfamiliar tract of closely mowed grass running from the tee to the green. Your ball is usually found immediately to the left or right of it
Oxymoron: An easy par-3
Practice Tee: A place where golfers go to convert a nasty hook into a wicked slice
Mulligan: Invented by an Irishman who wanted to hit one more 20-yard grounder
Golf Tip 2 Putting Practise
The putts from 4-6 feet are the ones that need to be and should be made. There are usually two reasons for missing a putt from 4-6 feet. One is movement of the head causing a push or a pull. Second is opening or closing the putter face at impact. Two Golf tip’s to help correct these problems.
A.) Set up 2 feet from the hole and take your normal putting stance and alignment.
B.) Take your right hand off the putter (for right handed players)
C.) Without taking a back stroke, push the golf ball into the hole. Make sure you follow all the way to the hole. This drill will help teach you to keep the putter head square through impact and a straight through follow through. Push the ball into the hole 10 times in a row and then back up two feet and take your normal putting stroke and see your improvement.
#2
Too keep your head still on the short putts concentrate on "listening" for the ball to fall into the hole and not watch the ball go in. The tendency is to have your head and eyes move with the putter and causing you to push or pull the short putt.
The Caddy
Well Caddy, How do you like my game?
Very good, Sir! But personally I prefer Golf.
Golf Tip 3 Driving
Stand with your legs shoulder width apart and hold the golf driver in the centre of your body, basically in line with the sternum or the middle of the chest. With this stance, your balance should be evenly distributed and if it isn't then you must adjust your stance as it may not be in the right positioning. This is what is called the centring position in preparation for using the driver. Now you must establish a swing that enables you to have a great and fuller contact with the golf ball.
Next tilt the body to the right a little bit with the driver still in hand. The driver should be in line with the left leg if the correct amount of angle is given with the tilt and the sternum should now be slightly behind the ball. The swing of the actual driver should be a turn back swing and a follow through, but the lowest point lowest point of the golf driver swing should be just before impact. Do not play the ball off your left toe or set all your weight on the right side of your body, this will throw your body way off balance and ruin the driving shot that you want to play.God and Golf
A golfer, now into his golden years, had a lifelong ambition to play the 17th hole at Sawgrass in Ponte Verde , Fla. Exactly the way the pros do it. The pros drive the ball out over the water onto the small green that is on a small spit of land. It was something he had tried hundreds of times without success. His ball had always fallen short, into the water. Because of this, he never used a new ball on this particular hole. He always picked out one that had a cut or a nick, as did many other "average" golfers when negotiating very challenging holes. Recently he went to Sawgrass to try again. When he came to the fateful hole, he teed up an old cut ball as usual, and said a silent prayer. However, before he could hit it, a powerful voice from above seemed to be booming out from the clouds, saying, "WAIT...REPLACE THAT OLD BALL WITH A BRAND-NEW ONE." He complied, with some slight misgiving, despite the fact that this same force seemed to be implying that he was going to finally achieve his lifelong ambition. As he stepped up to the tee once more, the voice came down again, "WAIT. STEP BACK.. TAKE A PRACTICE SWING." So he stepped back and took a practice swing, certain now that this heavenly force was going to make his dream come true. The voice boomed out again, "TAKE ANOTHER PRACTICE SWING." Dutifully, he did. He stopped expectantly and waited... A long silence followed....... Then the voice said: "USE THE OLD BALL."
