3 Great Sales Training Tips

If you want to improve your sales then why not have a look at this, and 3 More Great Sales Training Tips, and make sure that your sales and listening techniques are up to scratch.

1. Nobody likes a pushy sales person. We all know someone that seemingly knows exactly what the customer wants, how much they can afford and what they'll use the product for, before the customer has even asked for assistance.

Why not take the time to listen to what your customer wants? You will find out, by listening, and by taking the time to ask the right questions, exactly what your customer wants. You will be able to determine which of your products or services will be suitable.

2. Once you know what your customer is looking for, you will have determined how much they have to spend, and what they want the product or service for, and you will also know how much they know about the product.

You will want to show them some examples, so that they can decide on the right one. Depending on the product, and the customer, you know much more than the customer. Alternatively, the customer may know much more about the product than you! Somebody looking for a cheap computer is likely to have less technical knowledge than somebody asking for a computer by brand or model, or by technical specification.

3. If a customer doesn't want to buy the most appropriate option, there may be good reasons for this. You need to be able to establish these reasons, and be able to overcome any objections.

The product may be too big or small, or too expensive, or the wrong colour for example. You should be able to overcome these objections, and offer alternatives where appropriate so that what you are offering exactly matches your customer's requirements. The customer may not be looking to buy just yet, so you may want to offer incentives to buy today, or in the near future.

Selling can be much easier if you listen to the requirements of your customers, assess their needs, and then show them the right products.

Why not incorporate these tips into your sales techniques, and see if your sales increase?
