People create Hubpages for a variety of reasons. Some will create them in order to vent their thoughts. Others create Hubs to relieve stress while some will create Hubs in order to make money on the Internet. It's these last group of people that I'll be speaking to!

Some of you may not know or understand how you can actually make money with Hubpages. Believe it or not, there are still a lot of people who don't know they could be sharing revenue with Hubpages via Adsense, Ebay or Amazon.

But those are only one way to use Hubpages to make money on the Internet. Below are 3 ways you can use Hubpages to make money on the Internet.

The first way I want to discuss making money with Hubpages is their revenue sharing program. The way this works is that they will share a portion of the ad revenue that your Hubs bring in. The most popular programs they use are Adsense, Amazon.com and Ebay.

In order for you to make money, you're hubs will need to bring in a lot of traffic. One or two people a day on a Hub that no one sees isn't going to make you money. Courtney Tuttle started a 30 day challenge to see if he could make money with Hubpages. The goal was to write 100 Hubs in 30 days. He has all 100 wrote and in week 4 he's making nearly $200 from his Hubs!

There are a few tricks you need to know about to have a profitable Hub. First, choose low competitive keywords to write your Hubs over. You'll see traffic quicker and you'll move to the top of the Search Engines faster.

Next, choose products or information that people really need. Don't write over something so obscure only a handful of people will be interested.

And lastly, once you have your Hubs made, go out and promote them. Not only on Hubpages, but all over the Internet. Remember, the more people who visit, the more money you'll make!

If you have other websites or blogs, then you probably already know that search engine traffic is the way to make money from them. The only problem is that many people have problems getting their websites ranked high enough to enjoy this 'free' traffic.

It's no secret in the Marketing world. Social traffic doesn't convert well and not nearly as well as targeted search engine traffic.

So how do you use Hubpages to increase your search engine rank?

Simple. You write at least 5 Hubpages related to your website and link from the Hubs to your site. But that's not all. Hubpages are known to get authority from Google rather quickly. They see Hubpages.com as an authority site and the pages can gain authority rather quickly.

By linking from your Hubpages to your site using anchored keyword text, you can pass this authority on to your website which means higher rankings! Higher rankings equal more money!

But in order to get authority to your pages, you'll need to build links to them also. I submit articles to places such as EzineArticles and GoArticles to increase the authority of my Hubs. This authority is then pass on to my websites via anchor links. It's really a sweet deal!

I know more than a few people who make a lot of money online by doing nothing but choosing a few products and writing reviews and posting them on Hubpages, Squidoo and in article directories.

People love to read reviews on products and services before they purchase. Provide them with a review on something that they're about to buy and chances are good that they'll use the link in your Hubpages to do so! Thus, bringing you a commission for referring them.

Another way to make money this way is to write how-to articles on Hubpages.

Recently I was thinking about buying an iPhone App and wanted more information on it. Like a review or in-depth instructions on how to use it. I found what I was looking for on Hubpages. It was a review of the App along with a lot of links surrounding the article on iPhone Apps, including the one I wanted. Guess what link I used to go and buy it?

Keep in mind, the more Hubs you have and the more you promote those Hubs, the more money you'll make. Just making one or two hubs and expecting a ton of money to roll in isn't going to work. You need a lot of Hubpages and you'll need to promote them properly. It will take patience and some effort on your part, but it can be done!

Hubpages is a great way to make money on the Internet. Just be aware that there is more than one way to use Hubs to make money!
