Though it's not necessarily true that First love never dies, the memories of your first love will live for as long as you will. The difference is, you learn to look back and laugh at how young and foolish you once were...

The Ultimate Love

All the shouldv'e-would've-could've takes place when the relationship comes to an end with your ultimate love. Usually known as the one before the one, he was most likely the guy you have envisioned to spend the rest of your life with, if only the stars weren't wrong... His impact on you is usually the most life changing, usually for the better. The only difference between the first love and the Ultimate love is that, though both have proven to have tremendous impact on a woman, the first love is more often than not, immature and tends to be short lived. Think, Little Manhattan. The typical summer romance. THe type you let go eventually but would love to relive over and over again... The type that makes you look back in nostalgia. The Ultimate love, on the other hand is more on the mature side. Plans of marriage, family and kids becomes breakfast, lunch, or dinner in this level and the familiarity is, more often than not, overwhelming. Think Jessica and Nick's the Newly Weds. And unlike the latter, the Ultimate love presents bigger hope when it comes to longevity. If you're lucky, your Ultimate love might even be the proverbial "the one". But don't keep your hopes up. It's better not to expect.

Usually dubbed as the one, he possess the silver lining, the hope of a new life after a love that has left you hopeless and desperate, albeit changed. Though he may not have much of an impact to you than your Ultimate love, he is more than content to be the one beside you right now...
