- Knitting is Geeky
As I pointed out in my last post, geeks are redefining the skull and crossbones. This time it’s Ali Crockett and her knitting tattoo. Ali and her “knitta for life” tattoo were spotted down at the local San Francisco hacker space, Noisebridge. Of course the geek doesn’t stop at the tattoo, Ali is also [...] - 7 days ago
- Darth Vader Chest Tattoo
Such prominent placement of evil! Anna bares her chest to show off her ink of Darth Vader with crossed light sabers that was inked by Tivis Phillips at Ancient Art Tattoo in Blacksburg, VA. She points out that the other light saber belongs to Obi-Wan. Sometimes I have to wonder if Darth [...] - 2 weeks ago

I was the same, but while I was writing this Hub, the thought of the little Hubpages logo on my wrist kept poping into my head :S
HA! Awesome. I have the Brotherhood of Nod's logo on my chest--from Command And Conquer.
It actually holds alot of meaning to me; fight for those who cannot fight for themselves, and help protect third world countries from abusive first world ones.
Great hub, very fun :)
Awesome! Would love to see a pic of that! C&C rules, I still remember playing for the first time. Revolutionary game.
And thanks a lot. :D
Sure, give me a minute and I will take a pic, got facebook, aim?
I've PM'd you.
Nice hub
@ilovehubbing - Thank you very much.
That spider man tat is insane! And the power button is cool.
The spiderman and incrdible hulk tats do look insane. I love the way the hulk turn into bruce as he twists his arm wround.
Great hub, but no tats on me nor my ass. Nice tat Direxmd
You don't have to have any to appreciate them! Thanks for stopping by :D
Very cool. I have my own geek tattoo too. check it out http://s235.photobucket.com/albums/ee193/Dark-Yuki
@chefgeek - Awesome! Looks likt you'd only just had it done too!
A lot of people got paid to get these.Ones like FF, Zune, Windows, etc. are most likely just advertisement.
thanks C.C. :)
@ Shulla - I heard the Zune guy got 5 free songs and some stickers from M'soft for his tat and that was it!
The helvetica type one is not geeky, I think that is more of a typography designer tattoo. So if there was a question with which of the following does not belong here, I would choose that one.
hoorah for NOD!
Hoorah indeed!
Spiderman chessst ,, wowah!!by farrrr besssst (=
I'm a massive Blackberry fan and I' m almost ashamed by that tattoo, what was he thinking!!
I'm an ink virgin, but if I were to get a tat those would not be it!
@whoartnow that picture was taken right after i had it down which was a while ago
for those willing to follow the link, i have an awesome black mage tattoo, pixelated, ff1 style.
That's a great collection of geek tattoos.
@lauren - Respect for the Umbrella Tat!
Mario Shiva is awesome! Im actually kind of impressed with the helvetica tat, as a graphic designer Ive been forced to stare at the nuances between fonts long enough to possibly brainwash myself too, not usre if i would go with helvetica though!
That sidekick tattoo is terrible!
i think the ruler may be the greatest idea for a tattoo i have ever seen! and comic book guy leaves me rolling.
great collection.
Some of these were made of win, like the penguin. Some were pretty, like the Zelda... but personally, if I got a tattoo, it'd be something small. And possibly geeky.
Omg I cant believe it, you got a photo of me on here..rofl, im the one with the tux tattoo...anyhow i'm looking into a way to have some tribal style tatoo surounding it.
heh. hilarious.
I am the guy with the space invader on my chest.
I got it in 2001, a long time before the current 8-bit craze... my reasoning was that I wanted something 'tribal', but the more I researched the origins and meanings of common tribal designs, the more I realized that I would just be co-opting someone else's culture for my own aesthetic whims.
the space invader is a tribal design from *my* culture.
