Aunt Myrtle has just called you up and told you that you are in charge of the outdoor party games at this year's family bonanza.  Yikes!  What are you going to do?

Well never fear because this page will go over some fun outdoor party games for kids that you can play that even the adults might like.  And most of them are very budget friendly as well.  So let's get started:

1. Balloon Stomp

Everyone gets to blow up their own balloons and then tie them to one ankle.  The object of the game is to stomp on everyone else's balloons while saving your own.  The last person standing with their balloon intact wins the game.

2. Water Balloon Toss

Divide the group into two teams and each team gets a balloon filled with water.  Each round, one person must gently throw the balloon to the other player being careful not to break it.  Then everyone takes one step back and throws the balloon again.  The last couple with their balloon intact wins.

3. Scavenger Hunt

Everyone loves a good scavenger hunt and it makes a great outdoor party game.  Write out your clues on cards and have each card give a clue for the location of the next card.  The final card will reveal the location of the prize. 

It's a good idea to have a treasure chest at the end where every participant gets a reward.

A good scavenger hunt can have kids entertained for hours.

4. Musical Chairs

One person is in charge of playing the music while the other's must dance around the chairs until the music stops and then sit down. Each round one chair get's taken away until there is only one chair left. The person that sits down on that chair when the music ends wins the game.

5. Centipede

Divide the guests into two teams. Each team must form a line and put their hands on the waist of the person in front. Without taking their hands off the person they must manoeuvre through an obstacle course. The team that reaches the finishing line first is the winner.
