5. Attend a Milwaukee Admirals/ Milwaukee Bucks/Milwaukee Brewers game

In a state dominated by the Green Bay Packers, and a town crazy for the Milwaukee Brewers, you can still find pleasure in attending a Milwaukee Admirals game. Whether on a date, with a friend, or with family, you are sure to enjoy yourself in a highly exciting environment while watching some good Wisconsin hockey. Minor team to the NHL affiliate Nashville Predators, the Milwaukee Admirals have enjoyed a championship year in 2004 and they will be looking to do the same this season.

Ok, so the bucks aren't what they used to be... but that can change. With a new GM, a new head coach, and new superstar players like Richard Jefferson, the bucks can be competitive again. NBA basketball is becoming even more exciting with the development of new talent across the country and you can't really beat a good NBA game with a buddy or even a date.

The Milwaukee Brewers are one of the hottest and most talented baseball teams in the MLB. After signing 2007 rookie of the year Ryan Braun to a long deal, the Brewers are hoping to keep slugging machine Prince Fielder and the hottest pitcher in baseball CC Sebethia in Milwaukee. After making the playoffs for the first time since 1982, afford a game for the 2009-10 season, You will not regret it.

4. "Safehouse" Restaurant

Tired of the traditional walk in, get seated, eat, and leave? Then check out Milwaukee's Safehouse restaurant. The Safehouse is based on the "James Bond 007/ Detective" theme so don't be embarrassed if you can't find the restroom, the bar area, or simply the inside of the restaurant. I suggest coming on a warm night because it might be a cold wait out in the Milwaukee winter J. So of course you can just walk in (if you can find the place), get seated, eat, and leave (if you are smart enough to find the exit). Great place for a date! You will prove to him/her that you ARE smart enough. This will sure keep you on your toes and laughing hysterically.

3. Miller Brewery Tour

Take a tour through the famous Miller brewery located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Walk outdoors and upstairs to Miller's packaging-center balcony. A blur of cans roars along conveyor belts that wind through wet machinery, packing up to 200,000 cases of beer daily. Next, continue to the Mammoth distribution center which is the equivalent of five football fields. You might see as much as half a million cases of beer. In the brew house, where Miller makes its beer, they might make up to 8.5 million barrels in Milwaukee alone. End your tour at the Bavarian-style Miller Inn and sample a Miller beer or soft drink.

1. Visit the Milwaukee Art Museum

A beautiful display of art in perhaps the prettiest building in Milwaukee, you will find the Milwaukee Art Museum. Located on Lake Michigan, the museum opened in 2001 and was the symbol for Milwaukee ever since. Great collections and marvelous pieces of arts can be found inside the museums. Outside, you will find a place where tours, weddings, and beauty take place.

My son went to a yearly convention in Milwaukee for several years in a row. He loves the "Safehouse". I've seen it on TV, too.

Rochelle,

The Safehouse is quite an experience. It is really funny the first time you visit it because you try your best not to look silly but its hard not to. Its also fun to watch other newcomers as they try to find their way around.

Love Milwaukee although I have only visited. My mother grew up there. My aunt was a docent at the Art Museum and it was great touring it with her as I learned so much about the art and artists from a more learned perspective. That Safe House restaurant sounds like a lot of fun. Wish it had been there when we lived closer to Milwaukee. Fun reading this.

As to how to get more people to read your hubs...comment on other people's hubs. Many return the favor.
