Everyone wants to be successful, but only a few really does. Most give up even before starting or lose their patience. To be successful one should persevere and never give up trying and have the attitude of a learner. I am not a pro but i have learned my lessons in the internet and i am still learning. It is noted that popular people generate more traffic and money. In order to be become popular in Hubpages one may publish hubs regularly so that they get displayed in the new hubs category and stand a chance to be viewed more. Concentrate on our keywords and tags because if used rightly it helps you to generate traffic. Majority of the viewers are other hubbers so try to become fan of other hubbers, comment on Hubs, make and answer requests, participate in forums etc. Try writing hubs with good content and eye-catching titles. If you like something appreciate it by making a comment or sending a mail but be careful with your criticism. Advertise your Hubpages

Advertisement should be considered as an investment and not an expense. Advertisement means referrals or traffic for the site. Referrals play a very important role in increasing revenue. Getting referrals is not all but guiding and motivating them to stay in the site is important too. An adwords campaign could also do wonders any website. Apart from that one also could send emails, write blogs, participate in discussions and forums, advertise in other networking sites etc to bring in more traffic and referrals.

One can also put cross references of their other hubs on similar topics in their hubs so that the visitors may be tempted to view those pages too.
