Today is my hubby's birthday. Today, the 11th of September is my hubby's birthday and it's also an important day that every American must remember.

Speaking of hubby's birthday, what's his unique birthday gift this year? Well, it's a colostrum liquid spray. Trust me, I never heard of it before until a few days ago.

Today I am sharing with you 5 birthday gift ideas that I think are unique. They can also be great ideas for your anniversary.

I know they may be unique to me while you or others think they are generic presents. So long as some people think that they are good birthday gift ideas, I am happy.

Birthday Gift #1 - Colostrum Liquid Spray.

To be honest, the colostrum liquid was not in my list of birthday gifts for him at all. It's kind of a last minute change a few days ago after hubby told me that he would like to try out colostrum spray that his elder brother recommended to boost his energy and improve his immune system.

Since his brother did show some improvements on energy, sleep, immune system and mental strength, hubby would love to try too. His recent sleepless nights and extreme fatigue had no doubt affected his mood and teaching.

He said he would buy it when he got his pay. But I decided to gift him the colostrum spray as his birthday gift a few days before the September 11th.

This birthday present is definitely more practical than those birthday gifts on my list; he needs it to improve his energy level.

You know, he had been feeling very tired for the last few weeks. He was not able to sleep well most of the nights. In the school, he would begin feeling very sleepy in the afternoon. Each day after coming back from school at 6 something in the evening, he had to sleep for a few hours. Sometimes, he didn't even bother to wake up and eat his dinner.

His extreme fatigue and constant pain on his right shoulder at night time did worry me. The vitamins and supplements he had been taking didn't seem to help much to improve his mental strength and sustainability.

To tell you the truth, I don't really believe in MLM products. But for hubby's sake, I bought the spray and let hubby try.

On the first night after 3 sprays, he only slept for 3 hours! Amazingly, he was not tired at all the next morning. In fact, he felt energetic throughout the second day.

Again, he didn't sleep many hours on the second night. On the third day, he was still full of energy. He didn't take a nap in the evening and his shoulder pain disappeared.

Today, he looks revitalized. He has been in and out of the house seeing his friends a few times without any sign of tiredness.

I don't know if the colostrum liquid spray will still work wonders after a week. Well, I hope it will. If so, this is going to be another best unique birthday gift I have ever gifted hubby.

Birthday Gift # 2 - An Out-of-Town Trip to a Secondhand Bazaar.

This was actually one of the anniversary gifts I gifted hubby a few years ago. Or was it his birthday gift? Never mind. What I want to tell you is that It's a unique gift idea that I love sharing with friends and family.

Of course, your man must be a collector of old junks. Otherwise, he will find it boring.

My hubby loves collecting antique watches and old ancient China-made dishes. He can be there the whole day exploring new junk arrivals and exchanging tips with other collectors without noticing if I am still alive.

A few weeks before our anniversary, I told him that we would be away for a short romantic trip. I would take care of the hotel booking and itinerary.

We set off very very early in the morning and I was the one who drove. I will never forget hubby's joy and appreciative look when I stopped at the secondhand bazaar. Thanks to my blogging pal who told me the bazaar in her town.

As usual, he was there the whole day while I went to check into the hotel recommended by my blogging buddy.

I must say that this is one of the memorable anniversary gift for hubby. Can this be a birthday gift idea for you?

Birthday Gift #3 - A Watch.

Like I told you earlier, my hubby is a watch collector. Whenever I run out of gift ideas, I will just gift him a watch.

It's kind of easy to buy a watch that he likes; he always bookmarks the watches he likes and keeps going back to admire them from left to right and from top to bottom.

Once he has had enough, he will delete those bookmarked watches. The rest of watches that aren't removed from his bookmark list are his must-buy items in future.

Birthday Gift #4 - A Fountain Pen.

This was actually one of the birthday gifts in my list this year. Hubby started his full time teaching job this July, so I thought of gifting him a fountain pen that's also a practical present.

Since I have already gifted hubby the colostrum liquid spray, the fountain pen I came across online can wait for a while.

Who knows? There might be a deeper discount for the fountain pen and I can gift it to hubby as Christmas gift, Black Friday gift or New Year gift.

Birthday Gift #5 - A Gift Card.

This is one of the easiest birthday gifts to gift your man. Just give him a gift card; he can buy whatever and whenever he wants when he is ready.

If your man is a DIY man, a gift card for him to buy his favorite working tools is great. I have learned from years of experience with my husband that working tools and tool kits are truly a man’s “toys”. My husband can make 10 trips to a a nearby hardware store in one week and never get tired of it!
