I think what Jim Morrison was too drunk when he wrote "people are strange". What he actually should have meant is "women are strange". But then that's why we love them don't we?

Here are 5 tricks to keep your woman happy, to keep that love strong and even let it grow. Way to go!

1. Never say no:

Learn never to say a direct no to whatever she says, however illogical you may feel it is. If you feel there is something that should have "no" as an answer learn to be subtle. Learn to play around and get her to see reason as to why you are not in favor of doing something.

2. Get her flowers:

Now that's something all women like. The choices vary but the passion remains. Some may like roses other chrysanthemums but then they are all what they really are... flowers.

My wife has preserved the first rose I got for her. So find out which flower it is for your girl and get her those flowers.

3. Help her with the chores:

Now this is something men really stay away from. But it's not that bad. I always despised doing the dishes but it really pleases my wife to see me helping her out and trust me it's worth the effort. Also try to help her out in the kitchen. A little cutting and a little stirring but trust me you will never have an argument with your mate again.

Oh by the way it doesn't matter if you mess up and are not very good at the chores. Makes a huge difference just to see you trying.

4. Take her out for a romantic dinner:

Women are mostly romantic. They like a lot of chivalry and stories around them. Men on the other hand are mostly practical. But it's worth the effort of having a nice dinner with a stroll on the beach to go after it. Understand what she likes first. And surprise her with an invitation for dinner at the most likely time. I do that all the time. Oh and I am beginning to like these dinners. They relax you and help in keeping the romance alive.

5. Never disturb her when she is watching her soaps:

Now that's a thing I have learned from my months into the marriage. Women love soaps. Let her have her time in front of the television while you go do something else. Criticizing the soaps will only get you into fights. Put in a casual question as to what had happened last time and you get the lovable look and a blown kiss.
