Five High Payoff Activities.

Want to make good money in network marketing?

It’s really simple, invest as much time as possible mastering the things that deliver the highest returns for your effort! Become a champion in High Pay-off Activities!

Everything else is smoke and mirrors! Play with ‘other stuff’ and you’ll be the only paying spectator at the game!

You can pay people to do your admin, keep your garden trimmed or even cook your food but NOBODY ELSE can master the High Payoff Activities for you because they are YOURS to do!

You probably have the talent and ability to master the skills but the real question is this; Have you got the guts to make the sacrifice necessary to master them? It’s guts and self-discipline that set the champions apart from the rest.

You will need to drive this bus!

1. Learning

Confidence and enthusiasm are the two most attractive qualities a person can have. And they both grow best in a seedbed of solid knowledge and experience. If you can’t get fired up about your business, don’t expect anyone else to!

First off, be prepared to invest in your own personal development because YOU are the key to your success.

Next, invest time and money learning everything about your product and opportunity, BECOME AN EXPERT as quickly as possible! That’s the ONLY WAY to build a massive reservoir of confidence and enthusiasm.

Then learn as much as possible about your target market. How to reach them and why they should buy from you?

Get ready to become a student again!

2. Marketing

Finding customers for your products and services, that’s the name of the game!

Whether you market on a person to person level or online, the bottom line is this; YOU WILL ONLY GET PAID WHEN YOUR WORK DELIVERS PAYING CUSTOMERS.

How you get your product into the hands of willing buyers will depend as much on your preferences as it will on those of your customers. How you keep your customers coming back for more will depend on the quality of your service but a bit more about this later.

There are a hundred ways to skin this cat, some are easy and some are hard. Master the techniques that work for you and you will make them seem easy even if others find them hard.

One important bit of advice. You want to follow one, clearly defined and effective marketing system and then be slow to change it.

Focus your attention and energy on mastering the various components of the system you use rather than constantly looking for new ways. Jumping from one new idea to the next has never been a recipe for success … in fact, it’s impossible to build a massive business jumping from one 'big thing' to the next.

This is not to say you should never look for new ways to reach your market but rather to look for new ways that will add value to a system that you have already mastered. But become a master of the system first.

3. Recruiting

More network marketing dreams have crashed and burned on the ‘recruiting altar’ than on any other, and that’s a real shame because recruiting can be easy when it’s done right … not to mention financially and emotionally rewarding to EVERYONE involved.

And this is an important point to note right from the beginning. If you offered someone an opportunity that they took hold of, that empowered them to break free of mediocrity and achieve incredible success, what service would you have done them? How would that make you feel? That’s the potential every time you offer someone an opportunity.

Done right, there is no better way to build win-win relationships than network marketing.

BUT … the operative phrase is … DONE RIGHT!

Whether you’re recruiting new employees for a multinational corporation or new team members for your network marketing business, the same principles apply; picking the right people is your ticket into the big league.

If you invest your valuable time working with unmotivated people, you may as well flush your money down the toilet! DON’T DO IT!

Recruiting for a network marketing team is a simple screening process that’s a cinch to learn and fun to do. But in the final analysis, it’s a numbers game and the numbers get better as your skill improves. It pays handsomely to master this skill quickly.

Let me use alluvial diamond mining as an example since I know a fair bit about it. A typical diamond mine will process hundreds of tons of earth and gravel to extract a few grams of diamonds. The first stage is the removal of the overburden, the earth that the miners know will not contain viable reserves of diamonds. The exposed diamond bearing gravels are then excavated and run through a series of washing and screening processes before the diamonds eventually emerge. A great deal of skill is required to excavate diamond bearing gravels and to ensure that every stage of the washing and screening process is perfectly set so that no diamonds ended up in the waste and that no waste is unnecessarily processed.

Recruiting is very much the same but now you’re looking for diamonds of a different kind! When you know WHAT you are looking for and you know HOW to find it, the process can be fun and very rewarding.

The diamonds you are looking for are people who WILLINGLY AND ENTHUSIASTICALLY want to work with you to build their network marketing businesses together.

4. Serving

“Romance the people who have already given you their love!” (Leo Buscalia)

This is brilliant advice for both customer service and team building! Keeping happy customers and team members happy, is a whole lot easier and costs much less than finding new ones.

And service excellence is really the art of caring about people. Be willing to invest time and money developing your serving skills, it will make you rich!

5. Coaching

You may start as a student but you must soon transform into a business coach; teaching, inspiring and empowering your team members to develop the skills necessary for success. Do it right and you will never do another day’s work in your life … investing in others’ success is too much like fun to call it work!

A coach’s greatest reward is a sense of pride and accomplishment when a protégé excels beyond their own expectations. Network marketing is one place you get to enjoy both the pride and the money … long-term!

Thankfully, network marketing isn’t rocket science! The High Payoff Activities are not that difficult to learn nor are they difficult to master. But do them you must and in the RIGHT BALANCE.

World-renown golfer, Gary player, said “The more I practice, the luckier I get.”

PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, that’s all it will take ... provided you practice the right things. Just remember, "Practice makes perfect" is as true for the right technique as it is for wrong technique.

That’s true in just about everything in life. And a champion understands that winning is as dependent on mental preparation as it on physical training; both are High Payoff Activities. Those who don’t succeed may put in just as much hard work as the champion (maybe even more) but they don’t master the right skills the way the champion does.

Finally, the simple truth is this, a committed person will get further in a B-grade company than an uncommitted person in an A-grade company.

But best of all, be willing to master these five High Payoff Activities and then harness them to an A-Grade company worthy of your passion and commitment. You will be in for the adventure of a lifetime!

And a final word. There is no one, best way to master these five High Payoff Activities but it is essential that you master an effective system and then stick to it as you build your network.
