My 5 Stages of Flu
645 Stage of Flu From My Experience
There are 5 stages of flu from my own experience. I live very near the equator. That means my home has got to be hot to some extent, right? Well, not till recently!
Starting about last year, it had been raining a lot. Like cats and dogs. Perfect season for flu. Now (Mar 5, 2008), the rainy season is supposed to be over but guess what? It pours everyday. It is like winter here! And there ain't no 4 seasons!
The cold weather is causing a lot of people to sneeze and cough and get flu. Well, in my opinion, flu is not to be feared, cause it is a way of the body to make changes. There must be something wrong somewhere and when the body starts adjusting, we will get flu. Some people do not get flu and think they are fit, but well well, most of those people get more serious diseases later on, and let's see how they brag about it then.
From my own experience, when I get flu, there are roughly 5 main stages. The 5 stages of flu are:
- Your nose irritates you with sneezes and colorless liquid.
- You become weak like a senior citizen and your nose irritation continues!
- Your mouth-nasal operations are impaired because of greenish yellow substance blocking the passage.
- Whitish solid mucus forms an elevator shaft, going up and down your pharynx, making you hard to breathe and speak.
- You get to annoy people with frequent coughs.
- Someone else's Stage 1 (extra stage)
One stage may last from 1 day to 1 week depending on your lifestyle!
I have been able to reduce the amount of time of each stage, once I get flu, and hoping Stage 6 comes fast... haha, and I have done it with very minimal medication. Most off-the-shelf flu medication only seem to suppress symptoms and though it can seem to cure flu, - or fake a cure by suppression - there are other ways to really cure flu but that would be a long story to tell. I have good reasons to believe that heavy medications I took in several occasions in the past were the cause of the spinal scoliosis syndrome that I am having now.
To conclude... I used to hate flu but now I don't anymore. But I still don't like it much...

It is hard to tell, but from my research, it is because of what people are doing to Earth. Littering, pollution... it has caused mother nature to act strangely. Some predict major catastrophic disasters starting this year until 2012 and the world would come to an end. This will gradually begin with a change of climate, like what I am experiencing. But as of right now, here, the weather's back to normal...?? And then after the climate change, natural disasters will increase in numbers... Myanmar, China...?? And then increase in intensity and coverage.
In short, Armaggeddon.
I can't say I believe all this but I can't say I don't either. Time after time, evidence is popping up. So all I can say is "Let's wait and see..."
Yeah, It rained quite a lot during the rainy season. It seemed awfully long, didn't it, Josh? I got my fair share of coughs. I think i got it more from going to the gym than in a office environment. It's hot now with an occasional sprinkle. I'm missing the rain right now!
What you need is a nice hot mug of tea, and a few pieces of dark chocolate.
The antioxidants in these will ward off the flu and the stimulants will stimulate your body's defences.
I never get the flu.
nina, it's the same here, quite hot, with haze coming a bit. Where do you live? West Msia?
Josh, I seldom get Flu and even if I get it doesn't last more than a day or two because I do this Linga Mudra, a simple yoga like exercise, is a very good one for Flu. Try it next time, it works like a charm. Cheers.
Stupid flu.

Josh,
Your flu information is good, but I found most intrigued by your changing weather conditions... what do you think about that?
