This section is called "Viral Marketing". Many of these tips do not need much efforts, but if you implement them, they attract viral traffic. Your traffic will grow rapidly as a virus spreads and multiplies itself. OK, I would like to tell one thing to my fellow hubbers. When I joined hubpages in 2007 December, just after I had published 10 hubs, I received a fan mail which asked me "How did you get so much traffic in such a short time?". To which, honestly I didn't know the answer.

Later, I found out that my content marketed itself. If you create a compelling content, readers will follow. With HubPages as your platform, this is 100% true as there are plenty of readers waiting to read your hubs. If you were blogging alone on your own, you can not get even 0.1% of this traffic. In my case, the content was high quality photo galleries. I do not reccomend that every hubber should go creating photo galleries (they do NOT earn money). Follow your readers, follow the Hot Hubs - learn from them. That's another secret of my success.

Yes, what you heard is right, you CAN make money blogging. Not millions but a few hundred dollars a month. If you would like to know how, I would highly recommend this Blogging to Bank tutorial.

15. Create short videos and publish them on MetaCafe, Vimeo and YouTube. You may use just pictures and texts if you are camera-shy like me. Include links to your hubpages.

16. Convert your hubs into power point presentations and share them on Slideshare, Scribd and Issuu. Make it simple and attractive. Pull out only the essential tips and headlines from your hub, and at the end of the presentation, adk viewers to visit your hubpage article to read a detailed account. Your URLs will be still be clickable in the presentations.

17. Use your hub page profile URL in your Email signatures and Forum signatures. Check out MySpace forums which is a great place to hang out. I use my profile pagelink in my signature wherever I go. This attracts curiosity among forum users and they will surely will check out.

18. Submit to your "latest hubs" RSS feed to RSS directories. In this way, whenever you publish a new hub, all the directories and search engines will be update its viewers.

19. Use free blog pinging services such as Pingomatic or Pingoat to ping all web directories when you publish a new hub.

There are some paid services available that promise you that they will submit your hub URLs to 100s of web directories. I doubtif they would do it really. So, do not waste your money on those services.

20. Host a contest and give away a $10 or $20 Amazon Gift card and ask people to comment on one of your hub. You can reward one of the them by choosing randomly (Use a automatic program). You do not need even spend $10 for a prize. Look in your house for a small toy or even your autographed picture / postcard will be a nice giveaway. Just make it special adding a personal touch and post (just standard Internation Post) it to your winner.

21. Add your Hubpage "latest hubs" RSS feed to your Facebook profile. There is a facility to add your blog to facebook (use your RSS here) and whenever you publish a new hub, your facebook profile will display a note. You can check out my latest notes on face book. You can add such thin in Orkut, MyBlogLog and so on. By doing this, you are not going to do any extra work for updating (or pinging) those social networks. The RSS service will take care of updating your friends about your new hubs. How cool is that?

22. Write for Ezine articles, Helium and Associated Content. Link some of your hub page URL with your unique tracker in Author's Bio-pages. People who follow those links may even signup for hub pages. Ezine articles give you a chance to write 10 free articles and if you include yoru hubpage profile in the Author Bio page and Resource box, you can attract a massive flow of web traffic every hour. If your article gets featured in the front page, you will get 10 times the normal traffic flow.

23. Take part in Yahoo answers. Add any relevant hubs (do not spam) that you have written to support your answers.

24. Use microblogging tools such as Twitter, Plurk. Because, your hubpage URLs can be converted to tiny urls, you can instantly attract lot of attention from your followers.
