So you want to lose weight
After i published 7 hubs with my plan to lose weight (you can see the first one on http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-loose-weight-day-1), i´m here now to talk about some tips that you can use with the plan to make it more effective.
If you follow the plan i explained in that 7 hubs and at the same time you follow this tips you´ll be much more healthy and with the weight you want to have.
Here are the tips:
1 - Eat slowly. While you´re eating, chew slowly, feel the taste of the food.
2 - Don´t eat between 2 meals. You can have a snack at the middle of the afternoon, but don´t eat between lunch and that snack, per example.
3 - Establish the hours for each meal and never lose a meal.
4 - Make 5 or 6 meals per day: breakfast, morning snack, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, night snack. You can choose only one meal between the morning snack and the night snack, it depends on you.
5 - Always eat your breakfast before get out in the morning.
6 - Don´t be more than 4 hours without eating.
7 - Don´t eat while you´re reading or watching tv.
8 - Lay the cutlery after put the food on your mouth. And chew well and slowly.
9 - Try not to eat alone and in very noisy places.
10 - Don´t eat anything at any hour just because your colleagues are eating too.
11 - Identify the factors that make you eat too much and at any hour.
12 - Try to weigh yourself once per week and make a graph of the evolution of your weight.
13 - Make a food plan for you and follow it strictly right. If you think it´s better for you to ask the opinion of a professional of losing weight, do it.
14 - When you go to the supermarket, go after a meal. If you do those shopping hungry you´ll buy averything that you want to eat on that moment.
15 - Make a list of what you need to buy and don´t buy anything else.
16 - In the supermarket don´t stay much time in the part of the cakes and cookies.
17 - Read the labels of the products and avoid the ones with more calories and cholesterol.
18 - Always have at home good food, like fruit, vegetables and lean meats.
19 - Try to eat a salad or a soup before the meal and try not to repeat it.
20 - When you finish the meal, leave the table.
21 - Avoid those groups of friends whose only pleasure is going out for a dinner or to bars.
22 - When it´s difficult for you to resist to some food you like much but have too much calories, try to eat only a half of what you normally eat.
23 - Substitute the cake of the dessert for a piece of fruit.
24 - Don´t add sugar to the juices of fruit made at home.
25 - Include 2 vegetables in all your meals.
26 - Stay at least 1 day per week without eating meat. You can subsitute per example for soy bean.
27 - Before you go to a party or out for dinner, make a simple snack.
28 - Don´t be so sedentary. Climbe some stairs everyday, go buy the bread walking, walk your dog, wash the car, take care of the garden, use some tasks of the day to make exercise.
29 - Drink at least 2 litres of water per day.
30 - Try to avoid alcoholic drinks.
31 - Exercise is very good for our health. Try to walk at least 30 minutes per day.
32 - Learn the difference between hunger and gluttony.
33 - Try to resist the desires that makes you eat too many calories.
34 - Follow a realistic weight loss plan. Don´t try to do some crazy diets because normally they work for a couple months but then people give up. You can follow some plan like myself, that i talked in 7 hubs, first of them you can read on http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-loose-weight-day-1.
35 - Don´t give up everytime you gain some kgs. Try to lose that extra kgs.
36 - Search for a group of friends that likes to make exercise.
37 - Try to eat more fish than meat every week.
