5 Things You Can Do Now to Make Extra Christmas Money
81
Each year, it seems Christmas arrives faster than you expect. This year, it arrives with a guest in tow that we'd all rather not host -- a bad economy. Thanks to this unwelcome guest, most of us are looking for a little extra Christmas money. If you are here seeking to earn fast money for Christmas, then I am here to tell you it is doable -- all you have to do is work. It's just one of those things. It will work if you will. And by the way, if none of my ideas seem right up your ally, hopefully I will stoke your creative flame with this hub, so you can find your own idea for a way to earn money for Christmas.
Get a Second Job
This may seem a little "obv", but it is worth saying. If you already have a 9-to-5 or you are a student, you can still squeeze a good four work hours or so into your nights and make extra Christmas money. One thing you can do is work at the very sort of retail store where you will spend your X-mas cash. If that doesn't sound right for you, I've got a couple extra money making ideas in this hub that might just be the right second (or first, heh) job for you.
Deliver Pizza
With gas prices going down finally in America, now is a great time to earn extra money for Christmas by delivering food. Now, I called this item "Deliver Pizza", but you can make good money delivering any sort of grub -- pizza, Chinese food, etc. I once worked for a service that was a third party for a dozen or so restaurants in the area. The plus with that sort of company is there is no kitchen to clean, so you can take your extra Christmas money and go home at the end of the night without having to scrub, or mop, or wash dishes.
Drive a Taxi
If you like to drive, you might also consider driving a taxi for fast money. (Please forgive my pun attempt.) The reason to choose taxi driving over food delivery to make extra money is so you don't have to drive your own car. Typically, taxi companies have cars you can drive. There is no hourly pay. You and the taxi company just split the fares. And of course, you get to keep any tips you make. Now, how is that for fast money!
Wrap Gifts at the Mall
Here we are, talking about ways to make extra money for Christmas, and we haven't really gotten to a Christmas-specific money making idea. Here's one! You know those gift wrapping crews you see at the mall every year around this time? Why not earn money by joining them? If you are good at wrapping your own presents, you'll be good at wrapping others', as well. This short-term gig may be waiting for you. Call your mall and find out. You could be making extra Christmas money before you know it!
Failing working at the mall wrapping gifts, you could offer to wrap for your friends and family for a small fee. Who knows! Wrap it up right, and you could be looking at a new seasonal business for yourself.
Become a Hubber
If you are not already a hubber, what are you waiting for? If you can read this, you can write hubs. And hubs are nicely monetized with an array of programs. If you start more than two months out from Christmas, do your research on what works for making money with hubs, and work, work, work, you will have at least a little extra Christmas money. Now, if you start after the end of October, your extra money will come to you early in the New Year, but it will still come. How much money? Earning money depends on you.
