State Grand Jury of 6 to consider more charges
"While the disgraced Atlanta Falcons quarterback awaits a Dec. 10 sentencing hearing after pleading guilty to federal dogfighting charges, the prosecutor in the rural county where the enterprise was located has plans to prosecute Vick as well"
"The prosecutor in the county where Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick has admitted to bankrolling a dogfighting operation plans to present evidence to the grand jury [of six], Tuesday, that could possibly lead to an indictment."
Part-time, county prosecutor, Gerald G. Poindexter, presides over a community "among farm fields and along rural lanes, mid way between South Hampton Roads and Richmond. When a serious crime or dispute does arise, Poindexter, the county's part-time and lone commonwealth's attorney, seeks justice in Circuit Court, which usually convenes one or two times a month."
Cry of Justice for the Jena 6
Injustice tweaked and tweaked again
"... months of racial unrest after three white students hung nooses from a shade tree at the high school after black students asked permission to sit under it. School officials dismissed the noose incident as a prank, angering black students and their parents and triggering a series of fights between whites and blacks. The whites involved were charged with misdemeanors or not at all while the blacks drew various felony charges."
Mychal Bell one of Jena 6, "attempted murder charges were reduced by a prosecutor ..., an all-white six-member jury found Mychal Bell, 17, guilty of the new charges: aggravated second-degree battery and conspiracy to commit aggravated second-degree battery. Those charges could lead to a sentence of more than 20 years for Bell, who would have faced decades more in prison on the attempted murder counts." The second charge was also overturned; however, this young man has not yet been released.
Tweeking of charges were greatly influenced by tens of thousands of protestors who traveled to Jena, LA.
As soon as the protestors left, supremacist groups, flooded the town to incite community disruption.
Addresses of Jena 6 was published on a website which is now under Federal investigation.
