Most webmasters or bloggers might already know these tips, that can be easily used to rank higher in the search engines, have a higher page rank and link popularity. Note that these tips only make up a small piece of what all SEO means. I have been using these tips and not only across all my blogs and they seem to perform well.

1. Only link to high authority sites, remember to use 'no follow links" on your tags. This will help Google know better what your page is about. Relevant pages will be highly appreciated. For example I use to link my pages to some articles in Wikipedia. One of the largest encyclopedias online.

2. Do a lot of inner page linking in your website. Make sure each page is similar to the one you are linking., There is an easy way to find out which pages of your site are highly relevant, you can always do a google search with your domain "www.mydomain.com" and attach the keywords which you want to find relevant pages in your site, then link them together. For a better inner page linking use the related posts plug-in in wordpress.

3. Try to keep you pages highly relevant to the ones you are linking to. No matter if they are within or out of your site. For example if you have an article about Golf courses do not link that page to another page about Golf equipment, if you do that try to use 'the no follow tag'.

4. A lot of webmasters tend to buy links, to grow in the eyes of google, increase page rank and so on, avoid blogroll links, site-wide links, footer links and non relevant sites, and of course depending on your budget try to buy links on high PR sites.

5. RSS feeds. If you are a publisher on Hubpages or Squidoo then use your blog`s feed in those pages. This will help your pages crawl ability, relevance, freshness. Every-time you will publish something new on your blog those feed will be updated. I have over 100 Squidoo lenses, in each one of these Squidoo pages I have my blog's RSS feed. The great part of it all is that you will let people actually access all your blog posts from 100 different pages. Imagine having more than 1000 pages.

Unique Title but non-repeating words, Unique Meta Descriptions but less than 150 Characters, Different Kewords for every pages but maximum 10, Non repeated Header, Unique and qualitiful content can make a site on the first page less than a week. Then regular qualitiful link building with high page ranker site (link page with high rank not only the home page) will keep the site top position.
