According to the dictionary, anxiety is a state of being uneasy, apprehensive, or worried about what may happen. In short, you are concern about a possible future event. It is the major cause of stress in our lives. If you are anxious, it lowers your ability to perform a task well.
Anxiety is everywhere. All of us are experiencing being anxious but not all of us are aware on how to deal with it. So here are some tips on how to deal with anxiety. Simple tips yet proven to be helpful! 1, 2, 3 anxiety go away!
Tip 1: Keep a journal/diary.
Take down the things that make you worry or make you upset. Take time to evaluate them and find solutions to these problems rather than worrying about it. Writing in a journal is just like sharing our thoughts and feelings with someone. Speak out and it will lessen the burden you carry.

Give yourself a break! When you feel anxious or stressed, take time to take a deep breath and relax. Inhale…. Exhale…… Inhale….. Exhale….. Try to find time just for you and only you. A glass of an icy-cold soda under the sun is a perfect reward for you. Or maybe just close your eyes and enjoy the music over the radio. I’m sure it can help you manage your anxiety. Try a 20-30 minute bubble bath! Amazingly a stress reliever!

Problems are part of our daily life. They say problems are also blessings! It will help you to be strong and it makes you become a more matured individual. Take your problems in a cheerful way. Start your day with a smile! Remember, a simple smile can make you beautiful and a simple frown can make you very ugly.

Tip 4: Spend time with your friends/family.
Friends and family are more important than things and money. If you are stressed and anxious, why not exchange a hug with a family member? Spending quality time with them will probably release you from stress. A mother once said that “a smile of a toddler is a cure for a day’s stress”.

A professional advice from a Psychologist that can understand your situation can be a great help to relieve your anxiety. With a psychologist, you will be educated on how to find out your basic fear and how to transform them in a helpful experience.

Start and end your day with a prayer. A simple “thank you” and “guide me” will surely give you the confidence that you are not alone to face the challenges ahead of you. Remember what the Lord said? “My son, if you only see one set of footprints in the sand, it was then that I carried you”! Trust in him and you’ll never walk alone!

We experience anxiety daily in our lives whether knowingly or not and it has become an undeniable part of us. This is due to problems which the source we can do nothing about. For many people anxiety is just but a nuisance to them but to some it can be a serious problem. Anxiety can lead to health issues which are brought about by their side effects. One of the most common side effects is the lack of sleep worrying which is commonly referred to as insomnia. This side effect makes it impossible for one to be effective during the day thus one can have many more problems other than just the sickness for example being kicked off work. Anxiety can also incapacitate person mental faculties then present itself in very annoying physical symptoms.
Just like any other disease anxiety also has its targets. There are people who are most prone to anxiety attacks. Some of these people include the pregnant women who the wait to get a baby really keeps them anxious with the constant worry if all will be well after the long nine months. Other people who are prone to anxiety attacks are the public speakers. It’s not an easy task to speak in front of thousands of people so they are likely to get really anxious. Other people are the new drivers them to really suffer from these and many more people. It’s quite important to be careful if you know that you operate in an area that brings about a lot of tension so as not to get anxious.

One should be able to know the symptoms and effects of anxiety and also what exactly it is. The best source of this information would be the internet. This will help you know how you will deal with it. Another approach would be to seek professional help. This could be from a therapist. For most highly anxious people worry is usually a copying mechanism for them so once one sees worry as a problem the best way to deal with it is work on the solution. The last tip would be to get the body and mind working together. Anxiety mostly occurs in the body thus to get rid of the anxiety would be to get the body and mind working together this is through meditation, exercising or practicing some relaxation techniques like yoga.
Sure with these tips on dealing with anxiety you are bound to heal yourself of the anxiety and avoid them occurring again.
