Sometimes the aftermath of acne can leave you with depressing scars. There are so many skin care treatment and home remedies for acne scars. When you have a new pimple on your face it can be very irritating until it is gone. It’s like the first thing you look at when looking in a mirror is that zit on the side of your nose or your cheek or even your chin. Most of us will be conscious of that zit the whole time it is there. They say you shouldn’t touch or squeeze a pimple but who can help it. We tend to think we can get rid of it by squeezing its guts out. This may bring some relief and satisfaction but most of the time it will only make matters worse. If it’s too early or your fingers are not sanitized it will worsen the infection by the next day and also spread bacteria to other parts of your face. Squeezing pimples will usually result in permanent scars which are just as bad as having the blemish in the first place. The first best home remedy for acne scars is to prevent getting them. TRY as best as you can to leave the pimple or pimples alone. Do not touch them. If it is too embarrassing for you then you can cover it up with a small round band aid. If you are going to touch your face always make sure your hands are clean. The best way to treat a pimple is to try several home remedies to treat pimples. Some people add a dab of toothpaste on it for a few minutes. You can also place a warm damp towel on it to help ripen it up quicker. You should leave it alone even if it is annoying and painful. It can take about 3 days before it is ready to burst depending on the size. At this point, you can either, continue being patient and allow it to burst on its own, or if you are about to go crazy and can’t resist you can go ahead and squeeze it yourself.

For acne scars home remedies you have to be very careful when squeezing a pimple. If it hasn’t ripened yet this will be a big mistake. But if you are sure it is ready then you can follow these steps. First wash your hands and nails very well. Sterilize a needle by rubbing it with alcohol and a cotton ball. If you don’t have alcohol you can sterilize a needle by heating the tip on a flame for a few seconds until tip turns red. Allow the needle to cool down completely. Now you are ready to begin the procedure. In a room with good lighting make sure you are comfortable in front of a mirror and you have a good look at the zit. In one hand have a good grip of the needle and with the other hand you will need to tighten the skin area around the pimple so that it sort of bulges out. Poke a small hole at the tip of the pimple big enough to allow the puss to come out. Put the needle down, if your pimple was in fact ready to be squeezed it should discharge immediately after you broke it or it may need just a little help by adding some pressure from all sides. Don’t forget to use rubbing alcohol after you are finished. The pimple should dry up after this with out leaving behind a permanent scar.Unfortunately once you have a scar from acne it could be permanent. That doesn’t mean you should give up because there are so many acne scar home remedies that will reduce their appearance or even make them disappear. Although fading acne scars could be quite a battle you can try several of them until you find what works best for you.· Lemon Juice will lighten acne scars. Yup prevention is really the #1 thing to do, another home thing you can use is a derma roller, even with the vitamin creams you talked about, as it promotes the gerenation of collagen and acts as a catalyst for any cream absortion, if you want have a look at my hub on the matter http://hubpages.com/hub/Derma-Roller-Reviews
