CREEPS WOMEN OUT

7 THINGS THAT GUYS DO THAT CREEPS WOMEN OUT

When it comes to impressing a woman, men seem to do and say the darnedest things in an attempt to woo the lady of their intentions.

In a pitiful effort to appear desirable, many men will fail miserably because they just don't know what to say, when to say it, what to do, and when to do it. In the end, a man can turn a first date or first impression into a nightmare by "creeping out" the woman.

Below are a few things guys tend to do that really turn women off: Creepy Thing

1 Overwhelming Cologne Scents A light, subtle scent on a man is much more attractive than an overwhelming, powerful smell that a man may indulge in just before a date. If your cologne leaves a lingering odor, it can seriously turn off a woman, especially if the selected scent is quite offensive to the nose. Not every cologne will smell the same on a man and when mixed with hormones, sweat, and other bodily chemicals- the original scent may evolve into something quite hideous and creepy. ***Attention Guys... Please... Please... Please... Do not be the Creepy Overwhelming Cologne Guy! Please. Creepy Thing

2 Talk Too Much About His Mother In an attempt to seem down-to-earth, caring, and a good provider, many men make references to their mother. It is a well-known fact that some men are complete "mama's boys," and it is not uncommon to catch certain comments or statements that present a few alarming concerns. A man that brags about how much his mother spoils him may translate into future problems for a woman who wishes to measure up to his standards. It is also sometimes disturbing to hear a man state that he wishes he could live with his mother for the rest of his life. Creepy Thing

3 Miserably Hide Hair Loss Losing hair is an inevitable process for many men and while there are plenty of different ways to mask the problem, some will choose a method of cover-up that doesn't flatter their appearance. Usually, older males side with the wearing of toupees that not only miserably fail to hide hair loss, but actually call more attention to their insecurity. The worst toupees are ineffectively secured to the head or resemble a "wet or dead animal", causing a woman to not only feel less attracted to the man, but also distracted during conversations. Due to this consequence, some men miss out on a really good relationship because the woman feels too embarrassed or shy to address the issue. Creepy Thing

4 Constantly Talks About Ex-Girlfriends A man who constantly talks or compares his new companion to his ex-girlfriends is asking for disaster. Unfortunately, this is a common blunder and it really gets out of hand when he chooses body parts as the main theme of comparison. No woman likes to hear that she has anything larger than a man's last girlfriend. Men often confuse this move with flattering a female, but it's just creepy (and annoying) to address. Creepy Thing

5 Reveal Embarrassing Habits In an effort to appear humorous or break the ice during a first date, a man may open up and reveal something embarrassing about himself that exceeds normal or acceptable conversation. It is highly suggested to avoid these topics of conversation that may share a little more than a woman is ready to learn about the new man in her life. Creepy Thing

6Metrosexual Habits When a man spends more time than his date getting ready, some woman are creeped out, especially when she opens up his medicine cabinet and notices he owns more beauty and hair care products than she does. While there is nothing wrong with keeping up in appearances and practicing healthy grooming habits, some men display their "metrosexual" tendencies in an annoying fashion that goes beyond a concern for cleanliness. Many women dismiss the degree of these habits as a fatal form of narcissism. Creepy Thing

7: Appear Overly Full of Himself Confidence in a man can be a real turn-on, but when it is taken to the extreme and enters the realm of conceit, a woman will become creeped out by some of his gestures and actions. One of the most apparent is when the man seems completely "in love" with himself. Sometimes, men who are overly confident are constantly attracted to a mirror. When they walk past a mirror, they can't help but to glance and over time, this obsession becomes quite noticeable. The worst offenders have habits of checking their looks in the silverware at dinner or carrying around a pocket mirror for quick checks. Creepy!

8. Spends the entire date talking about himself and barely stops to breathe. A guy like this is so self-centered, there's no room for anyone else.

9. Doesn't know what a bar of soap is for. I'd far sooner date a metro-sexual man than one who hasn't seen a shower in a few days or whose breath knocks you over.

10. A guy whose only conversation subject is sex. Believe or not, there are other things going on in life...check them out!

lol, I enjoyed this hub! You have some good insights on date turnoffs.

The other ladies have offered up some really good additions, but I haven't seen the staring overtly at the boobs and/or butt thing mentioned, or even worse, not being able to get rid of them at the end of the evening when you've had your fill of the smell/one-sided conversation/bad breath, etc.

Compu-Smart, you're doing everything right, that's why your name will never show up in hubs with this subject matter. :)
