7 Wonders of the Ancient World for Nintendo DS

When I rented this game I actually only did because I thought the name 7 Wonders of the Ancient World sounded like it was an interesting game for a history major like me. I ended up discovering it was a puzzle game when I got it in the mail and was even more excited to play it as that is my favorite kind of game. The main concept of this game is to clear the levels by matching three matching tiles at a time. There are two things you have to accomplish in each level. For one you need to make all the squares to have clear backgrounds. Secondly you have to get the capstone to reach the bottom row. After each level you come closer to finish building one of the 7 wonders, such as the Pyramids at Giza. Once a wonder is complete you move onto the next one. There are also some special blocks that you get for doing things such as combo moves and clearing a match of 4 of same tile. These blocks will clear a horizontal row, vertical and horizontal roll, or some random blocks when they are moved and thus activated. Overall fun and addicting puzzle game with plenty of gameplay time, especially with free play and the ability play cleared wonders outside of main mode.
