1. Hummus & carrots
or celery, toast, pita, crackers...
2. Fruit ‘n yogurt shake. Try this mix out in the blender:
- Honeydew melon or cantaloupe,
- Light vanilla yogurt (100 calorie),
- Ice
- Lemon Juice
3. Slim Fast shake
Mix the powder, a banana, ice and water.
4. Turkey dogs
This could be especially good for the kids. Oscar Mayer makes turkey hotdogs with only 40 calories (and they happen to be my favorite regardless.)

5. 18 Almonds
Eat 18 before you get hungry and supposedly it will hold off hunger for a while.
6. Beef Jerky
Protein, fast-what else can you ask for? It's good too.
7. Avocado
Cut in half around the inner bouncy ball and the shell serves as a handheld bowl.
Bonus: Licorice Altoids because sometimes we really only want to entertain our mouth. If you think they sound gross, I did too, but I've changed my ways.
