It’s summer and I’m sharing the stuff I always carry in my beautiful bags whenever I head for the beach, and I hope you’ll benefit from this list too!

Sunglasses

Be good to your eyes and they’ll be good to you. The sunny days might not be a problem, in fact it’s a joy, for you… but the UV radiation is bad for your eyes. So never ever leave home without your sunnies.

Sunscreen

The UV rays are also bad for your skin as they are the cause of skin cancer. Protect your skin while tanning –or even just walking down the streets. I usually go for the spray-on sunscreen oil as they are more practical to carry and use. Don’t forget to also bring a sunscreen cream for your face.

Scarf

A thin and flowy large scarf or mini pareo always works wonders in a hot summer day. It can protect your tresses from sunburn (yes girls, your hair will break when exposed to too much sun), or it can function as a wraparound mini skirt when you’re on the beach.

Mini Chinese Fan

Get cool in style and enjoy your personal dose of breeze with a cute small, foldable Chinese fan. It screams elegance, and when you use it, it’s classier than using a card board paper to cool off.

Hand Towel

A hand towel is useful to wipe away sweats. However, it’s also useful to lower your body temperature on the beach. Soak your hand towel in cold water, squeeze it out and put the cold towel on your head, or face, as you seek shelter under the nearest cabana. It’s awesome.

Waterproof Camera

Take fun pictures on the beach without worry. Never ever leave this gadget at home.

PVC Waterproof Mini Bags

Keep one or two in your bag so you won’t have to worry about that wet swimsuit after a nice swim on the beach. These kinds of bags are also useful to keep your electronic gadgets from water exposure.

Foldable Ballet Flats

See, summer is the perfect excuse to wear beach sandals anywhere you go. But trust me, having a foldable ballet flats in your bag is a life-saving decision. You never know when you need ‘em. A sudden invitation to lunch at a posh restaurant by the beach might arise, and believe me, rubber beach thongs would be frowned upon.
