A Big Health Care Question For The Liberals
68Since you liberals think that you guys, through the government, can fix everything, and that conservatives are total nuts and losers, I have a big question for all of you.
If government gets control of all this, and a president that you guys consider to be terrible, i.e. President Bush, get control of the system, do you dare take the chance of this happening?
Since, he being a such a "criminal" and having all of this power, do you really want to give him control over this?
This is what us conservatives are very concerned with, but with a liberal president that we do not trust. This is too much power for any one person, or a group of people. Under a righteous person, this ultimate control is great, but under the wrong person(s) this can be a catastrophe. This is why our government was set up with the checks and balances so that we can prevent too much power in one person, or one group of people's control.
Just like the liberals to don't trust and do not want total control in one group or one persons hand, being conservative, we, conservatives do not want that either. We do not trust President Obama, and the democrats in congress, just the same as you guys did not trust the President Bush and the republicans.
So why do you guys want to give the government all of this control? Think on it, and then start telling you congressmen to not pass the present health care reform.
The present health care reform, which would be great if it concentrated on giving the people who are not covered by insurance a fair and adequate health coverage program, but it doesn't. It is expected that two-thirds of these will still not be covered by the program. This is a big failure. This is what we need to concentrate on. Let's take care of this first, and forget the rest for now. Let's take this in baby steps and get it correct. The current bills with their big sweeping reforms fail drastically. Let's fix one thing at a time, and then work on the next. The current bills are just a continuation of the bad legislation that has been coming out of Washington for the past two decades.
Please help us stop this foolishness. We want reform too, but not the way the present legislation methods are doing it. Let's slow this down and do it correctly.

Jib, do you live on HP? I am glad you enjoy all this.
I thing the libs like this, because they see us working people paying for all of them not working. They are too busy going going to the lib college and learning. They do not think they have to work. We work, they tax us, and pay for their way.
Keep on Hubbing!
There is a double standard here. It's OK if the liberals control all branches of power but if the republicans have it, well you see what happened with Bush. I didn't like the last few years of the Bush administraton and the Democrats took advantage of this sentiment among the Republicans and raised it to another level. We lost because we did't have the passion. I think, this time around the tide will change again, or at least I hope.
The process of "fixing " healthcare is a mess and a farce. I can hardly wait to see what we get once these Democrats unlock the door to their secret meeting room. Don't you just love transparency?
I think the sentiments expressed in your article are spot on. This is exactly the reason that George Washington refused the offer of Kingship after he led the Continetal Army to victory In the Revolutionary War.
Washington knew they had fought to eliminate the tyranny that always results when too much power is concentrated in government.
Eovery, I agree with your hub. Big government has never run any program with efficiency and that certainly won't start with health care. Pop, transparency is probably the biggest joke of all Obama's lies. We really need to turn things around.
Eovery, you're funny, no I don't live on HP, but I love to read the articles. Here is another question I want to pose the Libs, if they can't afford Health insurance now, how will they feel when it becomes mandatory like car insurance?
You are absolutely right on, eovery. The thing I don't like is two-fold: First, we have the world's best Health Care, those of us who are working or retired and have paid for it. The Obama bill will diminish our health care. Why ruin it for the sake of only 15 percent who don't have health care - many of them because they would rather drive a Lexus or BMW rather than pay for a health plan?
Second, Obama and the Congress have targeted seniors. Take away benefits from those old guys, they won't notice it. Besides, they've got one leg in the grave anyway. Did you know that $500 billion of this bill will be paid for through new taxes on us - even those who have coverage - and the other $400 billion will come from reduction in benefits of Senior's Medicare coverage. In so doing, Obama and company have become little Hitlers. They decide who gets health care benefits and who lives, they decide which class of people is worthy of living. Remember, they decided the Jews were a class that should be exterminated and they did - killing six million Jews. In twenty years, someone will add up how many seniors Obama killed, and that may be you and me, but I doubt there will be a Halocast museum in our honor. No one will really remember or even care. America should not be so callous as to want health care such as this travesty of justice so bad that they ruin the best health care in the world. Don White
Thanks for hubbing by everyone.
I feel like Glenn Beck, no answers on "what if a bad guy, i.e a conservative, get the power, do they want to take the chance?" I really would like an answer on this thought. Unless they feel BO will get everything fixed, that the liberals will be in power from here to eternity, or a revote occurs.
Keep on Hubbing.
eovery,
I think the liberal silence is very revealing, They aren't planning on any more elections ever. They have seiezed power and they intend to keep it. There will be constant emergencies, and elections will be canceled.
Think about this statement accredited to Obama,
"We live in the greatest nation in the history of the world.I hope you'll join with me as we try to change it."!
Now what is the big deal about changing the best health care system in the world?
Are we idiots or what!!
Tom, I am afraid you may be right. The believe in the one party system - theirs.
greatamerican, Yeah, he reveals a lot here. That can't help but stumble and say what they really mean. He has told us exactly what he is doing, people are just not listening.
Keep on hubbing!
Well said Eovery- and the comments here are excellent too! I totally concur!
Thanks cjv
Keep on Hubbing!
Well put. I don't think the Libs are thinking ahead here. :-)
Thanks for this perspective.
Thanks James.
Keep on Hubbing!
