Barack Obama - The 44th President of the USA

I know there are some Americans who are not happy with Barack Obama being the 44th United States President and, as a non-American, I have no right to say they are wrong in their believes.

But also as an non-American I must say that Obama it may as well be the only one who will put the US of America once again hand in hand with the entire world community. This may not mean a lot to some American people but I can assure you it means a lot to the all World.

A New Day - Barack Obama

Why!?

Well, because once again the United States of America has a President who keep people`s attention while he speaks, because he does not make people laugh when there is nothing to laugh about and because people understand and agree with what he says and they believe his words.

January 20th, 2009 - A New Day

I do not have too much expectations about this presidency but it´s clear to me that the way of thinking has changed and it is fair to believe that things can continue to change during the next four years. And I do not mean that it will happen immediately or that it will solve all the American problems and even less the difficulties that the world is going through right now. But no one can deny that this was a much desired moment for millions of women and men all around the world.

This Week With Barack Obama - A continuous roundup of information on President Barack Obama. The 44th President of the United States of America.

My Believes

I have no doubts the American people are able to do everything they decide to (they have done it so many times), but I also believe there are things which can only be addressed and resolved if WE all join our efforts. And I know that right now Barack Obama is the only one in the world who can make it possible.

Yes WE can!

I want to thank you all for commenting and, even though I will avoid responding to comments, I will read them all very carefully ;-)

I am a non-American but even then I was so overwhelmed to see the inauguration on TV that I found myself almost on the verge of tears. Each one of us has pinned up hopes on Obama. He seems to be a God-send person in the present crisis.

Obama does have a way about him that is hard to find in most. The faith he carries has a power above and beyond the man himself and this world needs that power and that faith. The fact that he has such a mess at hand is not going to make any part of his job easy but, the unity his personality generates can help lift and carry us from the weight of our world situation. Yes we can!

I agree that Obama is an excellent linguist. It is very refreshing to have a president that I actually enjoy listening too. Of course, the proof is in the putting, so he still has some way to go in this regard. However, I am very hopeful for the future.

i am a non American, and am getting fed up with a country that has so voted for this man, and now there seem to be so many knockers.

Your hub was as good as your shrimp with Port Wine,

I love Portugeuse and Spanish food, even when they ship you halfway accross the world, your DNA still craves what your ancestors ate. As I also love French and Italian, German food.

I am truly a league of nations in my own right. LOL

Your hub is a big thumbs up to America, and how Yes, We Can! bring about great change IF citizens exercise their right (and duty) to vote!  Even though you aren't an American, you DO have the right to voice your opinions about who we choose as a president, because that person's policies and decisions affect what happens in your part of the world too.

A big thumbs up to you!
