In life's journey you come across things that you feel you should share with others this is one of those times a few of God's precious promises. As an active addict I never knew how much God cared about man and his well being since God sobered me up, I keep learning about the love he has for mankind it's exciting to know that God cares in this Hub I will share some of the promises of God and make brief comments about the promise and how it has affected my life.

• 1. Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away; behold all things are become new. Man being a recovering addict I know this to be true and I am grateful for my new life that's the reason I have to say this promise is true and can happen to anybody.
• 2. The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the light of my life of whom shall I be afraid? When we learn how much fear kept us from the love of God and blinded from the light we have to rejoice at the manifestation of this promise. In the second part of this promise is just as powerful when we stop being afraid of what other will think and began to share our lives to help others we find a freedom that never seem possible.
• 3. The lord is gracious and full of compassion slow to anger ,and of great mecy.Thanks for the patience, compassion, and mercy of God because once again addiction will wear anyone patience out but God never wavered that the Good news of this promise God will not wavier or grow weary.
• 4. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them who love him. When we begin to love back on the Lord then he showers us with his blessings and we begin to help others and life takes own a whole new outlook, a life with a purpose blessed of God.
• 5. The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit. God is a heart mender and a healer of spirit blessed is the name of the lord forever more.
• 6. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word God. When we begin to hear the word of God over the voices of man and our own mind we develop faith that allows us to stand on the word of God.
• 7. For if ye forgive men their trespasses your heavenly Father will also forgive you. The power to forgive others increases the measure by which we are forgiven.
• 8. For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand saying unto thee, fear not I will help thee. And another place God said fear not for I have not given you a spirit of fear; but of love and a sound mind.

These are just eight of the many promise of God I choose eight because it represents new beginnings and these promises should give hope to those starting over that God is with them.
