A Home of Your Own
60Consider Your Options
You know, there are so many people, that are claiming bankruptcy, going bad on their loams, and loosing their houses and property right now. It makes you wonder, why, they can't settle for just a little less, to end up with more in the long run.
Now, I am not speaking to one general level of people or income bracket. I am pretty much giving you my point of view, and hope that you will gain some information and resources to find your own way.
More and more people seem to think, that they have to have a town house, or high rent apartment, more expensive cars. Yet, most of these people, cannot afford to pay the bills on all these things that they accumulate, and then have to sell.
My question, is why, people can't do it the simple way, and own their own property, with a very minimal deposit, then put their own home on that property? Or why, not just pay cash for a house with the property, and do a little work to fix it up? All of these resources are available to anyone, anywhere, yet few people seem to know about them. Why? Are people so tangled up in the web they weave, that they can't see what would work out better in the long run?
True enough, i am still paying on my property, be it a modest amount each month; but, the property is mine. No one can take it away, unless i miss paying my yearly taxes, which at this time will only be around $100.00 a year. I don't see how, being a little uncomfortable for just a little while can compare to those high bills that most people pay each and every month.
I just got my mobile home moved in. We cleaned it out today. The other people had quite a lot of stuff left in there. We simply backed a trailer up to it, and started loading stuff out to haul away. Now we are down to the bare essentials, and can see anything that needs to be repaired. I don't own any notes on my mobile home. The cash is already paid. Now, i got a free mobile home, but as most will know, the moving costs is something that has to be paid right then. So, yep, with help, that is paid for also. We had a very good mover come in, and he did an excellent job.
The point that i am making is this, if someone really wants to get ahead in life, then it is possible. The choice is yours to make. If you would rather pay out high bills every month to a land lord, that is your choice. Mine is, that i don't particularly like landlords, so i would rather own my own home, my own land, and do what i please. I like it this way, and i have more time to write about things, that may actually be of help to the next person.
If you would like to know how to get started on the route to owning your own home and land, you may check http://land.vstore.ca for my ebook: Own Your Own Land.

I am single too, and am very fortunate in having a sister and brother in law, that would stand by me during the whole process.

Shirley, it was ridiculous paying a landlord when I rented a home. What else is a single girl to do? I am however very fortunate and blessed to have found my own way and my own property, as you did.
