My Esteemed Hubbers,

I would like to run a literary experiment! With your cooperation, it will go well and I can prove my Hypothesis that most Hubbers are serious about their writing and will cooperate with each other in a serious writing endeavor!

What I would like to do is write the First Chapter and The Ending! I would like to have my fellow Hubbers write the Chapters in between. This will make for a very interesting, book. I will set a few rules, and pick which Chapter renditions I like best! I would like all Chapter submissions sent to the following E-mail address Kebennett1@yahoo.com. After I publish the First Chapter you can begin submitting your Second Chapter submissions for my review. Once the Second Chapter has been Published, then you can begin submitting your Third Chapter submissions etc.....

The rules are as following:

No prafanity.

No Pornographic literature.

No Killing Off The Main Character.

Keep each Chapter reasonably short, say no more than 5 - 10 good sized paragraphs!

Use the spell check, and double check your grammar!

Keep to a "Natural Story Progression"-Twists and turns are great, add and subtract characters and settings, but don't end up in outer space as cartoon characters!

If your Chapter(s) are chosen to be in this book. I will copy and paste them into a Hub and I will make sure your name is at the end of the chapter. Who know's, maybe we will all be blessed enough to pick up the interest of a publisher!

By the end of the book we will have a Title for the book as well!

I drove up the pathway that was overgrown with weeds and barely passable. Occasionally my car would fall into holes that were covered by the brush and I would bounce around in the seat. "Ouch, that was a deep one," I said out loud, though there was no one to hear me. I had made the trip alone, though not by force!

Now the house ahead was in my view. I did not know quite how I felt about being here again. Tears rolled down my face, slowly first and then the closer I got, the faster they streamed down and fell onto my blouse. I pulled up in front of the house and just sat there! "Why had I decided to come alone?" I thought to myself.

The small white house looked insignificant compared to the looming giant it was when I left as a child. Back then, everything was larger. The paint was dull and cracked now, and the roof was in need of a massive repair job. All of the windows with the exception of a tiny bedroom window, near the peak of the roof were broken. This was my house now. I had to make a decision to keep it or sell it! Besides the memories which were larger than life, it sat on 40 acres of land.

The footbridge over the creek was my favorite place to go. I must have crossed it a million times. Amy, and I would run across it into the woods and hide behind the trees. "Tag, your it!, Oh Amy, how I miss you!" I opened my purse and tried to find a tissue, as usual it was full of junk. In my frustration, I dumped it out on the passenger seat and a travel pack of tissues lay in the pile. Along with it, I saw the ring lying in the seat. Now I was angry!

I grabbed the pack of tissues and the ring, opened the car door and started to run! I headed straight for the foot bridge! My chest hurt so bad I thought It would explode, and I was gasping for every breath, but I did not stop until I had crossed it and was safely hiding behind a tree. "Tag your it," I cried out loudly as I crumbled in a heap lying on the ground.

I heard a voice calling me, "Karleen, Karleen are you alright?," I was woozy and I could not think straight. My eyes were swollen and it hurt to open them. When I did, I would see a very blurry man leaning over me. He was the one calling my name.
