A KING is a KING and REPEAT - 2 POEMS by CHRISTOPHER AMSTERDAM

"A KING is a KING"
Why smile in my face when really you wanna frown,
As soon as you walk away, I see your smile turn down,
I smell the deceit and negativity like a thought-hound,
Your ill-sincerity is NOT bought now,
All I ask? Is frown or don't say nothing when you pass,
Your fake happiness is a reminder of an infected rash,
While your mouth's hot air would be better spent on gas,
In a flash, you and I could lightning crash,
And if I go splat, then you go mash!
So why smile when really you wanna frown,
A King is a King, with or without his crown.......
"REPEAT"
Fake is fake; their is no other way to explain it,
If the sugar is not sweet, it is not sugar I am tasting,
Somethings' can be altered, some can be copied,
But none can be duplicated like the original body,
A first is a first, by definition it is single,
The second time is exuberance, the first is a tingle,
Even though we all go to great lengths to re-iterate,
That first experience is golden, no matter what we imitate,
No justice gets done to the speciality of unique,
But every human tries to make that first experience REPEAT.......
Always; Respect and One Love, Christopher Amsterdam

Terrific, both poems, both sentiments. You've got a way with getting a feeling across in a poem, and that's what poems are for. Keep up the good work!
