A Must Have Photoshop Book!
52If there's one Photoshop Elements book you've gotta have - This is the one!
An Easy to Use Step-By-Step Photoshop Elements Book
If you're looking for a very thorough, yet easy to understand reference for Photoshop Elements, there's one book that I can recommend without hesitation. Of course there are alot of good Photoshop Elements that I could recommend, but if had to recommend just one it would be Scott Kelby's Photoshop Elements book.
At over 480 pages this book is packed with step-by-step directions and photos showing the reader how to perform many processing tasks ranging from the most basic level to some very involved photo processing. Photoshop Elements has come a long way over the past few years and with so many features it can be tough to find your way around the program to do exactly what you want it to do, but this book makes it easy!
The Photoshop Elements 6 book for Digital Photographers is well organized by type of task and has a very good index for quick reference. I like the way complex processing tasks are laid out in detailed step-by-step fashion using actual examples. In fact, the book also provides a website that you can go to and download the same example photos used in the book so that you can practice on the exact same photo - what a great training tool!
I own several (very thick) books on Photoshop Elements that are quite good. The fact is, there is no single book that shows you every single feature or shows you how to do every single photoprocessing trick in Photoshop Elements (this is a vast program!). There are other good books on Photoshop Elements that I could have recommended but this book is the first one that I reach for when I need to learn a task in Photoshop. It's an indispensable reference.
