The first electronic cigarettes were invented in Beijing, China. The first were sold in 2004. From there, their popularity has skyrocketed. First they converted Chinese smokers, then European smokers, and now they have made it to American soil and the converts could not be happier. I can smoke one in the library if I like. Kiosks selling these face to face cannot keep them on the shelves and are regularly sold out too! With all that to go on, I might go out and try one. They come in no nicotine varieties as well.

The atomizer chamber heats up pretty quickly and turns the nicotine into a vapor you breathe in. Do not worry though, it is not like breathing in boiling steam, the vapor is cool and the device does not burn your hands.

You can feel the nicotine almost immediately after taking a drag, some say faster than a tobacco based cigarette.

The surgeon general has told us for years that cigarette smoking causes undue hazard to the health of the general public. Cigaratte companies have searched all those years to find a safe and profitable alternative to traditional smoking. Unfortunately the cigarette companies refuse to remove the unsafe elements from their product. Nothing they have done has been any compare to electronic cigarettes. I do not think anything will ever be able to compare to it.

There are electronic cigarettes in a number of shapes, colors, and flavors. Some electronic cigarettes resemble pens, and others look like a regular cigarette. The flavors are almost unlimited. They range from tobacco flavors, menthol, mint, chocolate, and fruit flavors. New flavors are developed as time goes by, expanding your options. The cartridges also have different levels of nicotine in them. There are regular strength, mediums, and lights as well as cartridges that have no nicotine at all.
