To Monetize your blog there are a hundred ways to do it effectively.

I will just summarize the three most popular ways and then I would like to show you a new and unique way to do it that will create immediate cash today and is fast becoming my favorite method.

You can monetize your blog with google Adsense.

This is probably the easiest way to monetize your blog and the one that most people default to when creating a niche specific blog.

The reason so many people flock to it is because it is easy to setup, you get paid for each click whether or not a sale is made and it is just plain easy money.

While this method may get you a lot of clicks and you can earn a steady cash flow, this method has its drawbacks.

First, You dont control what ads are put on your site and how much you will get paid per click.

Sure, you can request competitive filters for your niche and within reason if you have a good niche and plenty of traffic you can make money but honestly, the people who are really making money with google adsense are really the people using google adwords (ultimately google is making the money).

The advertisers are only paying you a portion through google and they (if they have are good marketers) are paying you because there is a significant return on their investment. Why else would they be willing to pay .50c to $1.00 to get a click to their site if they werent making signifcantly more in return.

The second method to monetize your blog is you can use affiliate network programs such as commission junction, max bounty or neverblue ads and hope that people that visit your site will find your affiliate products useful and interesting and click through your site to visit the affiliates site to sign up.

This method works quite well only if the niche you are targeting has excellent offers that match the niche of your blog but once you have signed up for a few affiliate networks and selected the top matching ads you can earn a considerable amount of money for cost per action affiliates.

While this method has the potential to be very effective the downside to using this method to monetize your blog is that typically the visitor to your site must actually click through to the advertisers website and place an order or sign up or buy something before you get paid. Sometimes the methods use to track the ads (cookies, pixel gifs, etc.) dont work properly and so even if your site visitor does click through and sign up, there is a small percentage of signups that you wont get credit for. :(

Thirdly, you can also sell your own products.

If you are creative and knowledgeable about a specific topic that people are willing to pay money for you can create a simple product with instructions in a specific niche that converts well and sell it through your blog.

This method can work very well if you are skilled and able to make a product that people want and build an attractive marketing and sales page.

The only downside I see to using this method to monetize your blog is that you must be able to make a product that people want on your own and further more you have to continually come up with new products over and over in order to grow this into a long term profitable business stream.

Ok now finally I am going to show you the new way I have found to monetize your blog.

Nowdays, everyone is using the above methods and what do they need more than anything to be successful?

They need eyeballs looking at their product, lots and lots of traffic to their products to convert to sales.

If you have a blog that is getting some decent monthly traffic then your internet real estate is exactly what the advertisers need to get their products seen (and purchased) and they are willing to pay you to write a favorable review of their products.

A site I found takes all these advertisers and marries them to bloggers with matching niches and then the advertisers start a bidding war to get the bloggers to write a review of their product and post it on your blog. The site that marries them together then gets a cut of the profits and passes the rest on to you.

Basically for each product review you do you are paid a $20-$200 commission depending on your niche and the popularity of your blog.

The advertisers get a great deal because they get a permanent review in a blog space and only have to pay a one time fee and the blogger gets a great deal because they get paid up front for writing a review that may take 15 - 30 minutes to do. Believe me it takes a lot of clicks of adsense through your site to add up to the $20 or more dollars that you get for that review and so it is a true win/win for the advertisers and the bloggers.

The best part is whether you are an advertiser or a blogger it costs nothing to sign up for this site and for advertisers you only pay for the sites you select to review your product and for bloggers you get paid for each review you do.
