Obama has promised a media blitz that to date has 22 million dollars behind it from supporters of the health care bill. He is buying support for it from people who have no idea what is even in it. For that matter even Obama doesn't know every thing in it and he admitted that to a blogger during a propaganda push phone call. I say we fight back! We have to. Lives are at stake.

I realize that we need health care reform. But a bill that costs an estimated 1.3 trillion to start up is not feasible at this time. The details of this bill are horrendous. A link to the bill of over a thousand pages is provided below. For that amount of money there could be a lot of options other than socializing medicine. A study of countries with socialized medicine reveals the care is substandard, the government controls who has what kind of care and the waiting lines for all sorts of treatments are real. None of this is acceptable. Obama has caved to the pharmaceutical companies and now is no longer planning to negotiate for allowing lower drug purchases from Canada as he once promised. And yet, Obama plans to cut Medicare and pass on Medicaid costs to states that say they can not afford them! He thinks the rich are going to be taxed more to pay for all of this? Can anyone think there are that many rich people in this country?

CBO Says the health care plan will add 239 Billion to the deficit and cost over 1Trillion dollars over the next ten years. Ongoing costs have been called unsustainable by numerous representatives. Even the Democrats are getting weak kneed at the prospect of shoving this bill through to meet a deadline that seems to serve Obama's ego more than it does the good of this country. 1+ million small businesses will be affected severely when they are forced to pay for insurance for their employees at a time when most are struggling to even stay open. Obama's health care plan is worded to allow coverage of 12 million illegal aliens. If you don't get health care insurance you will be taxed an amount that would be just about the cost of a plan. So if you can't afford the insurance, how will you afford the tax? I also doubt many realize that this reform allows government workers to enter private homes to be sure you have your mandatory vaccinations or are following your care plan. How about that for government control!?

What is Obama thinking? We do not want or need socialized medicine. There are just too many other options that cost a tiny fraction of what this bill is going to cost. He is bankrupting the country at an alarming rate and this bill will affect every life. They won't wait to ram this through to a vote because Obama won't let them. We can't afford to wait either! The time to act is now!

• Go to http://congress.org every day and write your Congressional Representative about the bill covering a topic about the health care bill that DISGUSTS you with each letter. There are fourteen days so choose fourteen topics. You can leave a few blank for now because I am sure as more news becomes available about the health care bill there will be more topics that outrage your sensibilities to draw from.
  

• Call your rep every day to go over your point of concern at (202)224-3121. If you have never called your rep before make a few notes of your concerns. Write a list of questions. Make the person on the other end of the phone give you answers. Ask how your rep is going to vote for this fiasco. If they say your rep plans to vote for it then let them know you will work hard to be sure they do not get reelected. Record this call and put it on you tube if you are really gung ho on videos. Tell the person on the other end you are recording the call.

• Make a flier - any kind will do that contains any amount of the information we know to be true about this bill on it and hand it out every where you go along with the http://congress.org address and the House Switchboard phone number (202)224-3121. If I have time to make one I will add it to this hub page. But you can make your own. Even a word document is effective. Don't let lack of skills to make something glitzy stop you!

• Post something online every day here and/or elsewhere about the health care bill. And if you twitter twitter them several times a day.

• Send emails to your mailing list every day featuring a link to the article you post along with the http://congress.org address and the (202)224-3121 phone number URGE YOUR LIST TO ACT! Ask them to pass it on to their mailing list.

• Finally, Copy this and pass it on. he may have millions of dollars for his campaign but we have millions of people!

President Obama is rallying support with millions of dollars at his disposal to do so! We don't have a moment to waste! It isn't going to be easy to stop this when the house majority is mostly ready to do what ever he says without much thought or even reading the bill.
