Lovers of Heart and Country
My heart is full of you,
flashing sword inspired by grace.
crimson tide cannot efface love so passionate,
so genuine.
You strike as the tiger,
with brilliant fangs and open heart.
My awe leaves me motionless,
a panorama of living art.
A death as this is written in song,
for love of life,
soul companion,
and my country’s union.
At last the end has come,
your life has taken mine,
there is no pain in this end.
my life for my land,
and my heart for thee.
