A SIMPLE HOMEMADE TOOTHPASTE

You will need: 1 tablespoon of baking soda; 1/2 teaspoon of salt; mere drops of hydrogen peroxide; drops of glycerin. Note: you can buy glycerin in almost any large pharmacy, but you might have to ask where to find it.

The baking soda serves two purposes, cleaning your teeth and freshening your breath. The salt helps to clean a little deeper. The peroxide is good for your gums, and the glycerin cleans and also helps to leave your teeth feeling smooth because it's an oil.

Make this toothpaste fresh for every use. Mix the 4 ingredients, experimenting with the drops of liquid to get the consistency you want.

It might seem bothersome to mix this toothpaste two or three times a day, so I have a couple of tips. Make a space on your counter for your ingredients. You can use little containers for each of them rather than having the original boxes and bottles there.

Making your own toothpaste will actually take less than a minute once you have organized your ingredients. And it's worth the time.
