A Question for President Barack Obama
54A Short Letter and Question for President Barack Obama
My Question to President Barack Obama
Having grown up in Indonesia and longed for the shores of America and having made a life here after graduating from Harvard with a wife and two children, is America all that your mother dreamed the mainland would be after being abandoned as a two year old child from a Kenyan father?
This is a long question because all is needed is a yes or a no answer. Is America all you thought it would be as you added voters to the polls on the southside of Chicago and worked in the rundown areas of New York? Is America all you hoped it would be while campaigning tireless and apart from your family because you saw a greater America that needed your leadership?
Is America all you hoped it would be as you made the Presidential oath as the first African American President yet mentioned all Americans in your inaugural speech? Is America all you hoped it would be as you met the Queen of England and spoke to the Europeans that your America though strong can not solve the world's economic crisis alone.
President Barack Obama are you in agreement with your wife Michelle that it was time for her to stop being the breadwinner and for you to take on the toughest occupations in America. I think we all know the answer. President Barack Obama thank you for representing America in an intelligent and smart light from the darkness of days when Americans were not talking about politics but throwing jokes at former President Bush.
Thank you for helping to remake America. You may answer on one of the ways that you are bringing transparency to the government as a reply on Recovery.gov; a website set up to keep the now interested American people informed about what is going on with the economy.
Maybe you will find one of my letters in the ten that you read daily to keep up with what is going on with Americans outside of Washington. When you read your briefing each and every night from the large black book that the White House staff gives you to read, do not forget that your homework is now for the American people.
I for one trust you to be a leader who can turn this country around for the good.
Thank you Mr. President for your answer.
