And Obtain the Title of College Dessert Champion

You friends have announced, "PARTY ON FRIDAY!!"

Once again you are lamenting that you have neither the time nor even very much money to spend to chip in. You don't want to be known as that guy who never brings anything to the party. You don't want to feel guilty for drinking a soda that someone else brought in to satisfy the unspoken party debt rule.

Well, I have the solution to all your party related woes : OREO BALLS.

Just follow these steps and your friends will heap mountains of praise upon your dessert making skills.

Step One

Ensure that your kitchen is prepared for the endeavor of making Oreo Balls. You should have some Aluminum Foil, A Baking Sheet, A Mixer, A Mixing Bowl, Gallon Sized Ziploc Bags, Spoons, Toothpicks, and A Small Sauce Pan.

Step Two

Obtain a package of Double Stuffed Oreos, 8oz of Cream Cheese, and 2 Bars of 60% Cacoa Ghiradelli Baking Chocolate. If you do not have one of the items listed in Step One, obtain them as well.

Step Three

Disembowel the Oreos. Place the creamy filling in the mixing bowl and the cookie pieces in one of the Gallon Sized Siploc Bags.

Step Four

Once you are done eviscerating the Oreos, seal the Ziploc Bag and place it inside of another Ziploc Bag. Try to get as much air out of the bags as possible.

Step Five

Drop the bag of cookie pieces on the floor. This is important for the next step.

Step Six

CRUSH THEM BENEATH YOUR BOOTS!

Step Seven

Once you are done properly subjugating the cookie pieces, dump the resulting powder in the mixing bowl.

Step Eight

Toss the cream cheese in the mixing bowl as well.

Step Nine

Mix thoroughly. There will probably be some splatter, but when you're done it should have the consistency of cookie dough.

Step Ten

Get out your baking sheet and cover it with aluminum foil. This is to save time when cleaning up more than anything else.

Step Eleven

Make an 'O' with your index finger and thumb, with your thumb covering the top part of your finger to the first joint. Roll the mixture into balls approximately the size of that 'O'. You should be able to make about thirty or so.

Step Twelve

Make space in your fridge and stick the baking sheet in there.

Step Thirteen

Wash your hands and all the stuff you've used so far.

Step Fourteen

Go play video games for an hour. I reccomend Harvest Moon, it's a great time waster.

Step Fifteen

After the hour is up, get out the sauce pan and start melting the chocolate. Put the burner to little less than medium heat. Keep stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn.

Step Sixteen

After you've ruined your first batch of chocolate, go and obtain some more.

Step Seventeen

Follow directions this time and melt the chocolate in the sauce pan at medium heat. Keep stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn.

Step Eighteen

Take out the Oreo Balls.

Step Nineteen

Use the toothpicks to dip the Oreo Balls in the chocolate.

Step Twenty

Once all of the Oreo Balls have been coated in chocolate, stick them back in the fridge.

Step Twenty-One

Wash your hands and the rest of the stuff you've used.

Step Twenty-Two

Go play some more video games for another hour.

Step Twenty-Three

Once the hour is up, remove the toothpicks and voila. You've got yourself some Oreo Balls. Remember to keep them refridgerated or they may start to melt.

Step Twenty-Four

Party Time. Go now and become the envy of all your friends.
