A teaching career is one of the most noble careers you can hold.  I remember, as a frustrated 3rd year teacher, thinking I might quit and find another field to go into.  I was talking to my dad and he told me that teaching was a noble career and to stick it out another year.

I did stick it out.  In fact, I am finishing my 28th year this year.  Sure, we all get frustrated but every field has frustrations.  Why am I glad I stuck it out? Because of the difference I made in many young children's lives and because of the impact they had on mine.
