A Collection Of Useful Url's

The internet is such a vast range of just about every topic you could ever think of with thousands of pages of information on each topic. Obviously, some websites are better than others and some information is a little more difficult to attain than other information. I have therefore created a list of websites which I find incredibly useful in the many aspects of the internet that I am interested in, particularly for tools, resources and educational information.

Social Networking

There are plenty of social networking sites out there. Aswell as the original and most well known ones there are new ones popping up all the time.

http://www.myspace.com - one of the originals and most popular!

http://www.bebo.com - fairly new and growing in popularity! Good features!

http://www.facebook.com - plenty to do to stop you from getting bored and loads of applications!

For Artists/bands And Unsigned Music

http://www.sellaband.com - a new incentive and view to raising finance and exposure for musicians. Or become a believer, help to finance artists and open your own store to sell their music!

http://www.slicethepie.com - only for the seriously dedicated. Unsigned artists/bands enter into an arena to have three of their tracks reviewed and rated. Highest votest artists in the showcase receive £15,000 to record and market an album

http://www.pumpaudio.com - an excellent resource/publishing site for musicians that hosts their music up for licensing. Very appealing and valuable contacts.

Competitions & Cash Websites

http:www.dooyoo.co.uk - a very useful site for information. You can both read and write reviews of just about any product. If it's not there you can suggest it! Also a good rewarding points system which pays in vouchers, cash or donations to charity.

http://www.pigsback.com - a great site offering plenty to do to keep you entertained to stop you getting bored. Games, quiz's and competitions and you even get rewarded for your time there!

http://www.loquax.com - another very similar site to above. I prefer this one, it seems to be more fun. A lot of variety to keep you entertained.

http://www.prizee.com -this is a french site where you can play flash games and earn bubs (points). Games are admittedly very slow but hey, they reward you!

Online & Offline Games

http://www.jmgamesonline.tk - this is my favourite one which i recently discovered, though it is very small. Quite a few online games and some good regular downloads. Also just opened up a games store.

This one also operates at the following url's:

http://www.jmgamesonline.co.nr

http://www.jmgamesonline.80t.com

http://www.jmgamesonline.4-all.org

http://www.jmgamesonline.c-o.cc

http://www.jmgamesonline.funurl.com

http://www.jmgamesonline.coolix.com

http://www.jmgamesonline.official.ws

(phew, glad thats out of the way!)

http://www.miniclip.com - literally hundreds of games to play here and they also give you html code if you want to embed their games onto your website.

http://www.freeware-software.org - Freeware games can be a great source of hours of enterainment. You will need to check out the licenses though if you are planning on trying to make income from them!

Web Developers (Beginners) Resources/Tutorials

http://www.a4flash.com - a very useful site for flash game developers or those wishing to learn to do so. Also offers flash games templates and custom flash game development.

http://www.afreezone.com - this is a fantastic site if you're looking for free content to post on your own website. Very useful.

http://www.lulu.com - this is a great self-publishing site where you can sell your creative works. It is mainly aimed at authors and even prints hard copies for a fee, though you can publish more or less anything including digital downloads.

I hope you find some of these useful, there are so many sites out there for so many different things I could go on forever. I may write another hub like this again soon!
