Jokes are ha, ha, healthy

Laughing is not a bad thing; actually it can save a life or two. It takes many more muscles to smile than to frown so right there we have already worked out some muscles. What a better way to smile and laugh than to hear a joke or two. It also tends to help out in our social relationships and love relationships.

How many times have we tried to break the ice in a social gathering and not known where to start? Well a joke is always a great ice-breaker. Telling a joke a work can easily put you in good terms with many of your co-workers in addition to getting brownie points with many a boss. Of course there are those grouches who find it a waste of time and will try to shoot you down. Do not worry about these fools they are only trying to make your life as miserable as theirs.

Another good place for a joke is when we are trying to get the girl/guy. It is a fact that women tend to feel more comfortable and want to date a person that makes them laugh. Well, ladies guess what, so do us guys. It is a sign that this person is probably an easy-going, fun individual to be around. If you do not believe me try to use a joke to break the ice with the opposite sex the next time the night is not going according to plans.

Now as with all things there is a time and place for all jokes. We don't want to tell a person we just met the same joke we might tell a close friend. Actually we don't want to tell our peers at work the same joke we tell our friends in private. It is all fun and games until someone gets offended.

So tell your jokes and have some fun. However, remember that everything has its place in society and jokes are not an exception.

Jokes can be tricky in my business, but almost everyone uses humor to ease the discomfort of death. I've heard some pretty funny ones, for sure! But like you said, there's a time and a place for them :)
