Do you like your job???? I wonder how many people actually can get up each morning and say hey great off to work I go!

I joined the company I am now with about 6.5 years ago and after a somewhat sticky start due to that it was a position created for me and I was the new women on the block, things took off. I had left my previous position due to potential retrenchments and I was probably more suited for this job then the rest of the staff I used to work with!

Little did more poor new boss know what he was in for! It's either right or wrong there is no middle path. New systems needed to be put into place and the comany needed to be brought into the new era as they tended to be still living in the past.

For me each day is a new challenge and nothing but nothing is ever the same - new systems have been devised and put into place.

I have learned so much whilst working here mostly self taught but good knowledge that can only stand in my best interest. We have a voucher programme at the moment with our seta and so we can study for free. I am making every opportunity to do that - even if its on my own time.

Remember you are never to old! And you can teach a dog new tricks it might just take a bit longer.

I did a list of what I do here and could not believe the amount of skills I have developed.

I have also learned to walk away, think about things and then come back and sort them out. I used to be to hasty in the past , now i find out all the facts first then deal with them in the right manner.

I still after all this time have an undying passion for what I do each day. Someday one does feel like killing someone but hey tomorrow is another day. It can be sorted out just follow the right channels and if you are stuck in a job you do not like, do yourself a favour look around and find one that you will like and have a passion for you will find the day goes by so much quicker if you are really busy.
