Warning for the whole world.

I was sitting there at the Driver's licence Office, waiting my turn to be showed on the screen and suddenly, one of the employees of the Driver's licence office said loud.: " We are presenting problems with the computer system, and we can not scan any documents any more and send them to Tallahassee. You have to wait to see if we recover the system or come another day."

Everybody in the room was upset and concerned about their schedules for the day, me too!

After about one hour the system recovered and I could complete my task of renewing my license. When I was going out, I heard somebody saying that he had definitely to come another day because the system crashed again.

A Million thoughts crossed my mind. How it is possible, that we have become so dependable on computers?.When we are not in the position of accurately know. How they will perform in the next second?.

The whole world is attached to computers ,when I think the Millions of planes over the continents 24 hours a day, depending on computers for their navigation, weather information

The Millions of finance transactions going on every day amounting trillions of dollars.

The whole health and hospital system is computerized, the labs, the pharmaceuticals companies and their formulas for the whole drug's production.

The Energy and Utilities companies and their billing's systems.

The Internet, the cellphones, home computers, the whole telecommunication among the countries of the world.

All the Offices of Public Records are also computerized.

Finally our whole life, all our sensitive matters and systems, including the defense systems are under the thread of computers crashes, manipulation or malfunction.

The whole world has become very vulnerable and is something happens to our computers, the chaos will be huge.

We need powerful back up systems and the highest security standards as only human possible.
