Continuing On Quilt S - Z

Just updating you on my progress on making my granddaughters quilt. I have painted the squares S - Z and done numbers 1 tru 10. I messed up a bit but being creative sometimes get you that. Senior moments in counting, I guess.

To add to my excitement of making this, my daughter emailed me that they are expecting another child in February 2010(told doctor not going to happen too many in Feb had to be January)! Older children are excited, big brother is hoping for a boy so they can share his room. Mom don't think he will be so excited when a crying baby actually arrives. He is eight this year.

More when I have accomplished sewing the squares together. I have once again taken on too many things at one time. Didn't manage to stay on track with the 30 hubs in 30 days, but not going to stress myself out about it. Thank you all who read them.

Thanks Hawkesdream...I also realized that. I just get frustrated when things don't turn out the way I visualize.

Thanks Tom..my grandmother make each of her grandchildren a rug(hooked or braided), but sadly we never received them. My mother married an awful man after my father died and many things disappeared. I can well imagine what a beautiful quilt from then would be like!
