Adrian Peterson Highlights!! Must See!!!

Jim Rome Interview

Greatest Running Back In History?

If you are an NFL fan, more than likely you have heard of Adrian "All Day" Peterson. AP is the next greatest running back in the NFL.

He entered the league in 2007 and plays for the Minnesota Vikings.

Adrian Peterson entered the NFL in 2007 winning the rookie of the year. Peterson has been in the National Football League's Probowl on 2 occasions. Once being in 2008 then again in 2009. Peterson was the pro bowl MVP in 2008.

Adrian Peterson has already drawn comparisons to Chicago Bears running back Walter Payton.

Peterson may have more competition with Chicago's new rookie Matt Forte. A very talented running back in the NFL along with Chris Johnson Of the Tennessee Titans.

Adrian Peterson led football in rushing in both 2008 and 2009.

Peterson set 4 NFL records in his first season. "2" 200 yard rushing games, most ever for a rookie and the most yards rushing in a single game with 296.

Adrian Peterson was only the second rookie to ever win the Pro Bowl MVP.

With the skills and promise shown by Adrian Peterson thus far, only health could play a factor in his destiny of becoming one of the greats, if not the greatest running back of all time.

Go Vikings. Oh-Oh, I just let the cat out of the bag. Well, from Iowa, you either bleed purple or green, with a few Rams and Bears fan thrown in.

Go Favre!

Keep on Hubbing!

Thanks for reading eovery.

What is the Favre status?

Bo Jackson is the greatest running back ever, even though he only played a few years and half a season. AP reminds me of Bo but he doesn't power people the same way.

LOL you are comparing AP to Bo Jackson? Bo does not know. Peterson is to all day as Bo jackson is to an hour of practice. Thank You for reading.

I'm an admirer of AP, even though one of my best friends is from Oklahoma, and I have therefore had to hear about him for 6 years. But best ever? One of, if not the primary requirement, for joining the class of Sanders, Sayers, Brown, Dickerson, et. al. is durability. Especially since the average career of an NFL running back is just over 2 years. If AP performs at this level for 10 years plus, you may end up being right.

He certainly has mastered the art of starspeak: "it's all about the guys up front . . ."

Really? Bo didn't even need to show up for the first half to the season to be considered the most dangerous runner when he played. But like Steve says, its longevity and I don't think AP is going to have it. Bo didn't thats why he'll never make hall of fame.

I agree with the both of you on the health issue. Especially since he doesn't back down from hits.

Steve, from the interviews I have seen of AP, he seems very humble and down to earth, yet seriously believes he has a chance to find the endzone on every touch. A rare quality for today's athlete.

I think the great ones all share that quality. Their detractors call it ego. Their fans call it confidence. But they all have it. They all want the ball in their hands when the clock ticks down.

Hello Steve, Agreed.

Do you have any thoughts on Matt Forte or Chris Johnson? I think Chris Johnson has the ability to be a Tomlinson type back with Forte being a power runner. Both looked pretty good in their first seasons.

Favre status-unknown. I think it is, if his shoulder is good enough, he'll play. He is still waiting on it. It appears that it did not heal as good as they hoped.

Keep on Hubbing!

Hello Wavegirl, Thank You for reading and commenting. Yep, you can link and I will do the same if you tell me how. lol

Yes, CJ is excellent this year, may take the rushing title. AP is still may favorite though for the simple fact of him running people over instead of running around them. lol. Thank You
