A.I. and Carmelo will make a dynamic duo

The blockbuster trade that sent Allen Iverson to the Denver Nuggets instantly made them championship contenders. Iverson's presense on the court will give Carmelo Anthony easier looks at the basket once he returns to action from his 15-game suspension for fighting earlier this month. Both players are prolific scorers and excellent passers; furthermore, having both of them on the court will give their teammates easier looks at the basket also.

Look for the Denver Nuggets to win the Norhwest Division over the much improved Utah Jazz this year. Allen Iverson will average a double-double (double figures in points and assists) with the Nuggets, and they will have the third seed in the playoffs. Carmelo Anthony will benefit from Iverson's leadership, and he may still win the scoring title because he won't see as many double-teams in the post.

The Nuggets won't beat Phoenix, Dallas or San Antonio, but they will make each series that they are involved in exciting to watch. The Nuggets will make it to the second round, but they will lose in six or seven games to either of these top three teams in the Western Conference.
