Ajantha Mendis is a right arm slow medium bowler,who incorporates a mixture of googlies, off breaks, top spinners, flippers and leg breaks.Batsmen are finding it difficult to pick his deliveries due to his awkward action.Mendis has played for Sri-Lankan army and has took 46 wickets at an average of 10.56 and strike rate of 31 from 6 matches. Because of his first class form, Mendis was called up to the sri lankan squad for the West Indies tour in april 2008.
