As I write, I will try to convey the kind and loving word of the Lord in a very simple manner, in uncomplicated terms. It's a mystery why we as people who are the children of God refuse to accept His word and seemingly resist the authority and the unfettered freedom to use the amazing power and all encompassing dominion God gave us.

We could learn many aspects of self discipline or learn how to master our own lives just by reading the Book of Proverbs. Proverbs has 31 Chapters.(just a few pages in each) If you read one chapter a day for a month. It might change your mind about a lot of things. Make it a personal challenge. I challenge you to do just that; read one chapter of the Book of Proverbs in your Bible each day, complete it in one month and see if many of your dominant thoughts have not changed. If it doesn't stir your spirit, and convince you that there may be some practical value in reading the Bible after all. Go back to living the way you were living before you began to read it. If you can...

Don't read Psalms, or Ephesians, or Romans they are too powerful, too full of love, too full of ordinary men who were totally dedicated to God. You wouldn't want to go there just yet. It might steal your heart!

DO NOT read Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, the first four Books of the New Testament. These Books are written by the four men who walked with Jesus in his time here on earth. You may get caught up in the love and devotion they felt for this man of God, and we wouldn't want that to happen either!

There is in fact a wonderful testimony about a man who did do that! I'l tell you about it. It is a story I once heard from the preacher himself. When he first began his ministry in the streets some years ago. While he was out ministering one night he came across a fellow how was totally wasted, lying in the street. The Preacher filled with compassion, decided to spend some time talking with the man, so he could tell him a little bit about Jesus.

He engaged in a conversation of sorts with this fellow and mentioned that he would like to give a copy of the Bible. The man laughed at the preacher and said "I don't need a Bible, if had a Bible with those thin paper pages I'd just smoke it!" Taken back a bit, the preacher thought for a moment and came up with a plan. He said "I'll give you the Bible, and you can smoke if you want to, but you have to make me a promise... that you will read the pages before you smoke them OK?" The fellow in the street must have figured that was a good deal, all that rolling paper for free and all he had to do was read what was written on it first, So, he agreed that's what he would do. He promised he would do what the preacher said. The preacher handed him the Bible and walked away.

About ten years later, the preacher was delivering his segment of inspiration at a convention telling the story of the man he had met in the streets and the deal he had made with this fellow years ago. Everyone laughed and thought it was a funny story. However, the preacher had to admit, he didn't know whatever had become of that man in the street. All agreed it was quite the deal he had come up with to encourage that man to read the Bible. Just then, a man stood up in the audience, and addressed the preacher on the podium. He identified himself as the man who was in the street the day the preacher gave him that book. From the podium, the preacher asked him if he had actually smoked that Bible. He said "Yes sir, I tried. I read Matthew and then I smoked it. I then read through Mark, and Matthew and after I had read them, I smoked em'. Soon after I began to read the first three chapters of the New Testament I finished reading Luke and then I smoked it. But JOHN, I read it, and I read it and I read it, I couldn't smoke it sir. I just couldn't." (John was the cousin of Jesus and they had loved each other dearly since birth.)

He then proceeded to identify himself as a fully accredited Minister Of The Gospel, that smoking a few chapters of the Gospel was the best thing that had ever happened to him. Changed his life forever!

So, you see, just a few chapters of GOD's Word changed this man's life so drastically that no one would recognise him for what he used to be.

You wouldn't want to go that far would you?

You see this is the beauty and the power that is in the content of God's gracious Word. It is for everyone and anyone. Everywhere and anywhere. Anytime and every time! For each and every person in their own time. Coming to God is a process.

Keep the seed...

We have only to take a walk and look around us to realize that every aspect of nature, is screaming of His Divine Presence. Perpetuating all that his and all that will be forever. it's natural, God made it natural, god made everything, everywhere, for every season! The Eden System, (God's Management Program ) is based on Seed time and Harvest. You pray a prayer, you wait and in due season you get an answer.

A farmer, plants his seed, he waits, and in due time , he gets the crop he planted. Thus the scripture about 'What you sew is what you reap'. I want..., no I need for you to think on that one a while. Yes, you've heard it before, and it most definitely had been around forever...

You sow corn, you get corn, You sow money you get back money... You sow anger and hate, you get anger and hate . That is how it works. You know the saying "Right back at cha buddy!" Well, that' how it is!

Ponder the thought a moment. Do you have any idea how you are living. Do you have any idea, the seeds you have sown. Do you have any kind o clue, what is coming back your way?

That's karma, you say! Yes you're right, what you put out there is always, always, always, with absolute certainty going to come back to you in some form or another. Carma is Cosmic Law you say, Yes, right again. Karma or Cosmic Law is invoked and governed by universal laws, right again. How do you think those laws came into being? Hmmm...Duh! Right they've been around since the beginning of time. Yes, you're right. Hello?

It is the same now, as it was then and shall be forever...

When Jesus died on the cross for us, he washed all of our sins away, took all of our infirmities (sickness, disease and death) and by His stripes we were Healed.

We, each and everyone of us have the power to accept this GIFT, to be free of sickness, to be free of sin and to be free of premature death. We simply have to repent, "go your way and sin no more' Jesus said. We must simply change our minds to allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in a different direction and surrender all unto God. We must turn our lives over to the Heavenly Realm. Allow the Lord God Almighty to begin to work in our lives. We must be Baptised in the Holy Spirit, (Born Again) and listen for the prompting of the Spirit, and allow those promptings to guide us. We must acknowledge and allow our mind to changed and renewed. To be able to yield to the right thing to do, no matter what it costs in every thing we plan to do. God will not steer you in the wrong direction. It may seem that way at times, but all God does with you, thru you, and for you. is meant only for your good.

Imagine, everything you do, is good. Everything you try succeeds! Everyone you meet likes you! Well maybe we won't go that far.But ALL thing s are possible with God.

All you need to do is walk in it. Get into the word of God, spend time in the word. Get on Wisdom's path (which is the word of God) and follow that path. We've got to keep it in front of our eyes, keep it going into our ears, settling down into our hearts, until it becomes "the biggest thing in our lives!"

How do you let God's Word become the biggest thing in your life? Well, it's easy. You simply allow yourself to soak in it. That's right! Immerse yourself in it. The more you focus, and lock in on His word, the more motivated you will become to research more and more of it. The more you read, the more you will love it, and the more you love it, the better you will become at discerning what words are meant for you each day.

Being in the Word, keeps you hungry for the word... It stirs your soul like nothing else ever could. It is ancient wisdom being revealed that you will know that you already knew, you just hadn't heard it in a long while. It is like des jevu. It feels familiar it fills your heart, feeds your soul, fills your spriit and you know it!

It also fills that void empty hole in your heart, it fills that spot where that piece was just missing and you could never figure out a way to fill it, to satisfy the longing, "It is done".

It will seem like coming HOME to you, you will become rooted and grounded it it's ALL powerful Love, it's gentle grace, it's caring for your every desire, your every need. "It will be medicine for your bones"

Truly, you will begin to see and understand why people go to church on Wed evenings, Sat evenings and Sundays too. If you need to feed on the word of God and you require the public atmosphere or the sense of community by being at church, then by all means attend your local church as often as you can.

I am not suggesting however, that being in church is the only way to worship God, I do it by myself, in prayer and communion sitting at this computer. I do it by writing and making my contribution, attempting to spread the word of God to the rest of the world thru these Hub Pages. And this is just one of the ways you could do that! The Love I feel, and the inspiration I express here on these pages gives me great satisfaction and wonderful sense of fulfillment. I only hope and pray that they are meaningful to those who read them as well.

You will find your way. It is probable that the Spirit will lead you to know your purpose and how you may fulfill your own personal destiny. Just don't stop! Stay in the Word. Let the Love of the Lord overtake your life, let it it guide you in every step, allow it to assist you to overcome all of your difficulties.

Stand in and on your Faith and lean on God!

It won't take long for you to know that to SURRENDER ALL is the only way to live. There is nothing more meaningful, nothing more beautiful, there is nothing more peaceful, there is nothing more perfect that living in eternal Bliss!

There is nothing more wonderful than knowing God is the biggest thing in your life. It is then you know that you are truly 'Rockin' in the cradle of LOVE'.
